I know, I know…oh look, another CT getting wrapped, haha!!

Just wanted to give a shout-out to @TWRAPS and their fantastic PPF Wrap Kit. Awesome commo throughout the process (pre-order, order, after sale). The cuts on the panels were perfect. Their install video and written instructions made everything super clear.

I got my FS AWD in May, 2024 and wanted to rock the stainless for a bit. But after about 10 months, I felt it was time to try a wrap and I’m so glad I waited. The Twraps kit is so refined. And the PPF color is PERFECT!!

Mistakes were made of course, haha!! But, Twraps says “Don’t panic!” and that worked!! Very forgiving film. So easy to work with. I am so happy with the result. The color goes from near-black to dark ODG. Just beautiful.

Since this pic, I installed FS decals over the wrap (That’s the tailgate obviously. Color balance is a bit off as I had bright LED worklights going. The wrap color looks like the overall pic, dark green).

Anyway, no affiliation with Twraps, other than being a totally satisfied customer. If you’re looking for a pre-cut, DIY wrap kit, get the Twrap kit.

Haha!! Yeah, wait until after vacation!!

Another bonus with Twraps: You don’t need to remove the mirrors or fender flares before install. The wrap just tucks about 1mm in between the flares and stainless. You might have to push/pull on the flares a bit to make room for the film to tuck as you’re squeegeeing, but that’s it. Seems to save a lot of time.

Re: Color Book. Me either, haha!! It made all the difference.

Unless you’re going for matte/satin black or white, or some other primary color, you absolutely will see a difference once sunlight hits the swatches. I was basically set on the ‘Ghost Metal Dark Green’ but once I had it in the sun, too much sparkle for my taste. I then flipped the book to ‘Mysterious Green’ and I instantly knew it was the one.

Just attempted to do a DYI wrap, granted was not a TWRAP and ended up ripping off the entire thing and threw $900 into the trash.. Yours ended up turning well I see

about to do one. Curious what went wrong and where from

Finally got my truck with the same wrap. I’m not as brave as the original poster and had it installed by “Rad Detailing” in Edmond Oklahoma. They did a great job and probably saved me from getting an ulcer.
