So drove to mcdonalds this morning and came back parked my truck. Few hours later got in to go to a foundation dinner and im getting alerts of

HVbatt_a170 top speed reduced

Hvbatt_a056 unable to charge

Hvbatt_a742 vehicle may not restart

can soneone please tell me this is just a error. Currently in it going straight to service center. Messed my dinner up tonight but i dont care not taking a chance also not waiting 17 days for a service date.

also if this is the high bolt battery do they replace with a refurbished battery?????

Yes batteries that need to be replaced now are refurbished. Tesla says they are new cells. Make sure the range matches the way it was or better before you get it back. Also that pack will always be stained with refurbished SN. Bummer.

Can long waits for service be annoying? Yes. Not having a loaner available can also be annoying. Have you ever taken a vehicle in for service with other manufacturer? This is not something unique to Tesla. Many manufacturers have long wait times and often don’t offer loaners for service work. I’m not trying to say you shouldn‘t be frustrated, you emotions are valid. I think we forgot that shit breaks and sometimes unfortunate things happen but if we really step back and evaluate most of the things we encounter they are first world issues.

It sucks your truck is having issues and that it may not be resolved in a timely manner.

Sort of sounds like you've always been unhappy with your CT. Selling it is a solid idea. Show pictures....

Silverado EV motor went out. Month and a half to get it replaced. No loaner. Was told it was only a week of labor, but GM wanted to fully document the process piece by piece so they could "learn" from it. Their learning was literally at my expense.

That said, I'll take 17 days anytime.

Hope you you're able to get this resolved without anymore turmoil.
