My VIN assigned 17Jun. No Tesla comms since then. I intend to pay cashier's check and present insurance proof at delivery. Nearest SC is 3 hrs away [another state]. I will charge at home. Home elec terminated to garage wall and ready for install of Universal Wall Charger [one of "Premium" accessories included with Foundation Series].
So..... does the UWC deliver with the truck? I do not relish searching for public chargers in TESLA-deprived country awaiting some 'later' shipment.

Most likely not. The truck will deliver with The mobile charger, but not the universal wall charger that works with the directional power share charging, which is available through a separate transaction/voucher.

No, only the mobile connector.

Is Powershare going to work for you? If not, just use the standard wall connector Wall Connector (tesla.com)

AFAIK, ONLY is Powershare is going to be able to be installed, will you get the Universal Connector.

I'm the OP.
I am NOT going to order POWERSHARE, but take the $2,500 store credit and hope for the best WRT out-of-stock resupply prior July2025.
So... If I don't order POWERSHARE are you saying the only charging accessory I will get is the mobile charger? That's a surprise since since the UWC is listed separate from the POWERSHARE line on the list of premium accessories.
If all I get is the mobile charger, what must I have at my garage wall to charge the CYBERTRUCK?

Wow, 3 hours away? Where in South Carolina do you live? I live in the upstate, Anderson specifically. Not many superchargers up here either.

Also, as far as I know, you will receive a $2,500 voucher via email after the delivery of the truck. You can use that for the Powershare/UWC combo, or if that doesn't work for you, you can order the wall connector and some other goodies via the Tesla store.

You can order both the UWC or the wall connector on the Tesla store. I think what he was saying is if you are not getting Powershare, then might as well save a few dollars and the regular Wall Connector instead of the UWC.

Original OP again.
Unresolved:
1. Is wall connector the "Gen2" version and the enhanced wall connector the "Gen3" version?
2. It appears that only the Gen3 is needed with POWERSHARE connectivity AND has the capability to charge non-TESLA autos. Apparently both capable of charging TESLA at same rate. Is this correct?
3. The detailed list of FOUNDATION Series extras no longer shows on the TESLA website. Am I correct that formerly, the Universal Charger was listed as a separate entry from the POWERSHARE on the premium accessories list?
4. If POWERSHARE is not installed with my FOUNDATION Series and I instead take the $2,500 credit do I NOT get ANY wall connector or will I instead get the regular wall connector?
5. If no POWERSHARE will NOT get ANY wall connector?
6. As SmittyMD said, will I only get the connector?
6. If I get the mobile connector, is it provided at delivery with the truck by the SC?
7. What elec service do I need at the garage wall to charge with the mobile connector?

Hi, OP, no need to state you are OP as it shows on your post for everyone to see.

1. Here is all the info on Gen 2 vs Gen 3: https://www.primecom.tech/blogs/new... requires a 100-amp,the better choice for you.

2. Same charge rate.
3. It was listed separately.
4. You'll need to wait for your email from Tesla to figure that out.
5. No. You still have the option of a wall charger.
6. The cybertruck comes with the mobile connector in the underbed storage in a box.
7. You can use any NEMA adapter from Tesla with the mobile connector. It comes with a 5-15 for a standard outlet and a 14-50 which is used for things such as a clothes dryer. (Keep in mind these outlets are not meant to constantly be unplugged and plugged, so keep swapping to a minimum.
For example, a 5-15 will net you about 2-3mi/h charge, a 10-30 will net you about 12mi/h, and a 14-50 will net you around 20mi/h.

I first thought NC and figured they were in the middle of the Piedmont, but SC is pretty had to be 3 hours from a Supercharger. It even looks as if 2 hours is hard. For reference Myrtle Beach to Asheville is 5 hours.

Since you are not getting Powershare, you can use any of the other Tesla charging solutions. The Powershare Wall Connector just provides the ability for bi-directional power flow.

ALL other currently listed products work with any of the currently selling Teslas.

The $2500 doesn't come until after you get the vehicle, so you can't use it to put a connector in before you get the vehicle, yes, it is a little screwed up.
If you do not get Powershare, you don't get any of the Powershare parts, only the credit.

You will get the Mobile Adapter with the truck, as well as the J-1772 adapter for public L2 sites.

Minimum electrical service would probably be a 240V 20A circuit. From there you can go up to a 240V 60A service. If you believe that you may two EVs in your garage in the future, it may be easier to install 100A (or higher) subpanel in your garage so that multiple plugs can be used in the future.

There is no specific answer, it may depend on what you electrical panel is capable of and where it is located in relation to your garage. An electrician should be able to get you a quote.

@PACHIS tons of conversations about this. I can forward some additional info via DM if necessary, but this thread is a good start.

First, I need to apologize for being TESLA newbie. When I used the term "SC" I was referring to Service Center (the delivery location). Now know it means SUPERCHARGER.
I get it now, I am out another $450 or $550 to buy my own charger connection for my garage because no POWERSHARE. I was naively assuming that the EWC listing on the premium accessories list, separate from the POWERSHARE listing meant that it was separate because a buyer would want some way to charge at home even if he didn't want the power to go in both directions.
So, because of the one-time transaction restriction on the $2,500 POWERSHARE credit, I must spent cash out of pocket now to get either the Gen2 or Gen3 charger?

Thanks for posting the map for SC. Yeah, thought 3 hours is a bit too much for distance to a supercharger. Definitely curious where specifically the OP is from.

The UWC and the WC seem to regularly be in stock at the Tesla Shop. So once you receive your $2,500 voucher, you can purchase one of those to install to charge your truck. You shouldn't have to pay out of pocket, except for the actual install by the electrician.
