Yes. Most likely. Anything that requires the truck not tomgo

So a couple of questions. Thanks for the video.
It looks like you have xpel armor on the tailgate. Do you have this on the bed too? Does it make it easier to slide?
I tried to order the Cybertruck kit, but I guess that’s not a thing any more. What would you recommend ordering ?
Lastly, I too love batteries and solar and so forth. What are you doing with what looks like 3 delta 2 max’s ? Maybe two and an extra battery? Just curiosity
Yes, I have xpel armor only on the tailgate and not in the bed. The tmat does slide easier on the tailgate, but it slides pretty easy on the bare vault bed.

I ordered the Universal size for 6’ to 6.5’ truck bed. I used 24 of the 12”x12” panels and 4 of the 2”x12” panels to cover 50”x72” area. That’s 6 rows of 4 panels width 2” strip on one side of each row. Note: I didn’t add the 2” strip on the last two rows to allow opening the sub vault.

So, the batteries. I started with one Delta 2 max and it has been working great providing power for everything I use camping (induction cooktop, refrigerator, charging all the lights, phones, watches). I try to keep the CT powered off most of the time when camping. I have two 100w BougeRV CIGS solar panels installed on top of the RTT and plugged into the Delta 2 Max. I recently added the two Delta 2 extra batteries. I also have two Ecoflow bifacial 220w portable solar panels with 30ft cable that I can deploy. My last trip to Starbase, TX, I tried dumping most of the single Delta 2 max into my CT. Just to see if it would be a total pain for a possible emergency 4 miles. I was surprised, it worked without too much work. I was able to discharge most of the Delta 2 and still have enough time charge 50% of Delta 2 before the sun was too low.
Note: I really do not know what I am doing, other than learning as I go and from this forum.

@Urander: trying to take my mind off the “Credit Decision Pending” waiting game. Can you tell us a bit more about the Gen 2 awnings? So far I’ve gathered:

-270 degree will be hard case.
-will it have integrated lighting again?
-I assume there will be wall add ons again?
-any other improvements?
-weight?

-360 degree will be soft case.
-zippered roof hatch for RTT access.
-integrated lighting? Add on walls?
-weight?
- Gen 2 270
The light and side wall will definitely be included on Gen 2. It weighs about 46 pounds and is easier to open and close. We’ve also added a graphene coating for better UV protection, upgraded the light power from USB to Type C, and most importantly - the hard shell just looks way better.
- 360
It does have lights, but no side wall option for this one. We’re planning to share some photos next week!

In case you’re wondering what that is, no, I’m not selling portable air conditioners. My wife underwent surgically induced menopause and chemo last summer so she had a really hard time thermoregulating. She’d have these awful hot flashes so I created an area we called “menopause corner” where you could basically stand in something resembling the arctic circle for a few minutes to cool off. Sometimes we would even go to Costco in flip flops and take our shoes off to stand on the floor in the dairy fridge. Lol.
My kids were running around the house wearing fleeces in the middle of summer in Phoenix, but even with the central ac set to 65-68 she was still very hot.
It was an interesting time. Glad we got through it and it’s all over, but now, as an unexpected benefit, I’m somewhat of an expert on creating freezeout zones in hot climates. ?
I also got really good at running freezers with popsicles and Luigi’s Italian ice in every single one of our cars in the middle of the desert, so if you need advice on that, I’m your guy.

I have the ZeroBreeze M2.

Just to clarify, like the Gen 1 270, we offer both a 270 awning-only version and one with side walls. The free light bar is included with both the Gen 2 rack and cap, and we’ll ship everything together.

Hope that makes things a little clearer!

We’ve got the pics, but Jimmy asked us not to share them just yet. What I can say is the kitchen drawer is hidden inside the slide, the bed space becomes way easier to use with the cyberslide.
When you come across a bevy of cairns please destroy them. They are a menace. Rangers spend a fair amount of time scattering the rocks so that a huge cairn emplacement doesn’t form. People don’t seem to have common sense about this. It once was initials, now it’s cairns. It used to be that very limited cairns were justified in extremely remote locations as route finding markers. With GPS there is no reason. Cairns are nothing more than graffiti. As the picture shows, they have become a real problem. When you see a little human made stack of rocks, do Mother Nature a solid and kick it over forthwith. Especially out in Coyote Buttes. This has been a public service announcement.

Tesla Cybertruck UP Invincible Bed Storage Slider System, and a discussion with Urander about their upcoming Gen2 bed racks! IMG_3591

So wait, how is this harmful? Usually I see people leave poop bags and soda cans and shotgun shells and all kinds of egregiously disrespectful things to the environment.
Seems like I’d take some “cairns” over that any day.
What am I missing here?

Yeah. I’d say a panel with a hole in it and replaceable foam inserts which can be cut to fit whatever device someone wants to run through there would work well. When I use the foam template in my home windows, it just slips inside the window track. Sorry for the crappy pic but just wanted to demonstrate that the black foam part with the cutout rests exactly where the window would when closed. Something similar could easily be achieved with a panel I think.
You’d just have to have a groove in the panel to accept the foam.

Of course, for what we’d be doing here, this is also a potentially awesome option.

I haven’t seen one in person and I can’t vouch for how well the cabin climate control would work or how efficient/inefficient that would be, but there are a couple of posts about these I’ve seen on this forum.

I just saw a Cybertruck owner using one of the foam pieces from our rack packaging for their AC hose ??Jay might still have some left if he kept our packaging?

That’s exactly what I did. With someone else’s foam packaging of course.

I ordered the universal fit for 6’ to 6.5’ truck beds with the drain hole option. They must have had some complaints from CT owners due to the sub vault access. The vehicle selector in March was providing the universal option for the CT.

my tmat came in! im having a small issue though. I think I can solve it by cutting the panels closest to the cab: if i install panels front to back I get an overlap at the smuggler’s bay:

also you see that when the tailgate is closed it pinches the last panel a bit so that it bends up a bit.

did you have to alter any panels?

I did not need to trim any panels. However, the back wall on my truck is smooth and not corrugated like your bed. (FS Beast built in June 2024).
I have the tabs facing the rear on the first 4 rows and no tabs on the end that faces the tailgate. Then the last 2 rows, I have no tabs facing the rear and tabs on the end facing the tailgate. This provides a smooth ends of the two sections facing each other to allow the sub vault to open. The rear 4 rows do overlap the sub vault hinge by 1”, but it still opens. It raises the last row of 4 by about 0.5” or so. Note: I did cutout holes for the bed D rings.
