Well, here it is folks, the most up-to-date Cybertruck pricing scale. We have carefully deconstructed the original Cybertruck price, and using the most advanced algorithm available to date, reconstructed a sliding scale that closely mirrors market conditions on all levels of factors, such as materials, labor and other elements including batteries and their increased availability, increased stainless steel production, decreased reliance on chips as programming takes a bigger role, and the emerging circumstance of Tesla now owning a large portion of the lithium mining sector. Even as other car manufacturers face increased costs across the board, Tesla has managed to reduce costs on some key components of production, and as they ramp production, their costs are reduced as they're able to to, simply put, pump out more vehicles in a shorter time frame, reducing labor costs even as labor increases on a per-hour basis. Here, then, is the new scale:
Single motor: $36,800.
Dual motor: $45,200.
Tri motor: $64,990.
Quad motor giga monster beast mode 1000 mile range: $71,000.
These prices will be valid for all those who have made a reservation to date, and are just as valid as any other guesses we've seen so far, only we like these a lot more than some of the doomsday predictions previously seen on this site. Have a great weekend, my friends.

Way low.

a) Single motor is toast.
b) Tri motor is on the sideline for the first couple of years
c) Quad motor will come out first....at $89,000. Maybe more.

Best data point is the last data point.

So... We should assume minimal price drift.

-Crissa
I wish
but Last datapoint was 3 years ago.
Inflation this year alone is ~8 percent and Tesla has been regularly updating/increasing prices across their model lines.
I see no reason to believe cybertruck would be any different.

One year of 8% is less than four years of regular inflation, which they would have anticipated. There was at least four years of reservations when they stopped giving us prices last year. And at that point, they knew they were already a year late.

So while it may seem logical to say to add in all this inflation... It would have already bee in calculations made in 2019. And we can anticipate how much leeway they had budgeted by when they cut off the pricing. And they cut off the pricing when inflation projections ate those extra four years.

Anyhow, there's also no use fretting or 'accepting' price increases that don't yet exist.

Yeah good points.

I agree no use fretting. Iā€™d rather assume pricing is going to go up (like just about everything else) and if it doesnā€™t then itā€™s a pleasant surprise.

You donā€™t think they quoted a future product with inflation in mind? Albeit, not 8%ā€¦ but.

those things are absolutely considered. 65k and 90k prices. Dual and quad. 300ish miles for dual. 340 for quad.

This completely! I would be shocked if they launched a 500 mile version. Doesnt make business sense at the current moment.

100% the single motor is not happening...Tesla did mention that was the plan.
Tesla also did say the Quad is coming first, and probably supercedes the Tri-Motor.
And, as it stands now, the earliest the first Cybertrucks will roll off the assembly line is late 2023.

That would imply the 2024 production run will be all Quads. If anyone ordered in 2019, and gets their Cybertruck 5 years later in 2024, they can't really expect 2019 pricing.

PS Did you see Chevy released the pricing on their first Silverado EV RST trim?
$105,000. Rivian is pushing $90,000 now. The Ford Lightning Platinum is $90,000
A CyberTruck Quad at $89,000 in 2024 seems to be in line with the other options.
Maybe in 2025 Tesla will start selling the Dual motor for a more reasonable $69,000?

Cyberman, even tho a FORDman, I respect his estimate. Hereā€™s why.

Given not one but three GigaFurnaces burning $M USD, Cyberman scenario pisses off no one but ā€œFrankā€œ in Accounting. And Elonā€™s thinks throwing Frank under the Cybertruck makes a point with WallSt. bean counters.

Given 1M orders, err $50,000,000,000Cybertruck dollars(1,000,000 orders x $50,000USD) stops the burn, generates cashflow and buys Tesla 3yrs to get its GigaASSETS in gear.

ā€Frankā€ wants 10% inflation increase plus COGS increase of $4500/CT evaporated from 2021-2024. Frankā€˜s spreadsheet looks like a Quad Flagship Cybertruck begins at $111,000 base with future CTā€™s to be priced after Quad fulfillments.

Overnight 50% Reservation holders cancel outright. Uptake on the Quad is 45% of the Tri-motor CT reservations. AND Tesla is forced to relaunch the Cybertruck at new prices, adv campaign and reposition the Cyber narrative up market. CyberGUCCIā€¦
