did you guys try to sell it first to carmax or carvana. How much better or worse was Teslas offer
Carvana was 3k below Tesla and without the trade in credit, obviously. I looked just for the heck of it after the Tesla offer. I have read stories about Tesla adjusting trade in values down day of and that sort of stuff. My experience was first rate. I don’t think they even evaluated it. Just told me to get my stuff out before I accepted the new one as I would be locked out once I did. The old truck was in tip-top shape anyway. I had no concerns.

I have another question: can I weigh a truck on a scale to find out its actual weight?

And what energy consumption does the ?
You can take it to a scrap yard and get an actual weight paper, or even one of the weigh stations on the highway, not sure how you would read the weight tho on the highway one.

Well, the lord giveth and the lord taketh away. My truck just threw this error while charging and then promptly bricked in my driveway. I suspect it’s a PCS failure. I saw some weird shadow codes in Tessie related to the PCS during the last charging session as well. They are coming with the flat bed. 500 miles on the truck 😄

Any updates
This has me concerned 😳 & sad😞
Thought moving from a very low 9,000 vin 2024 FS AWD to a fresh ‘26 would spare me from early issues…
My PCS failed @ ~16,000 miles.
At least I won’t need another Accelerator Pedal Rivot or Cantrail replacement😉

They are repairing it as we speak with an ETA of tomorrow afternoon. I don’t have any specifics right now. I’m leaving them alone to do their thing but the truck is powered back up and it charged on a wall connector today as well.

👌please keep us in the loop
Hopefully it was something other than the PCS

No answers yet. They still aren’t sure what’s wrong. The truck charged back up to 80% on AC power today though. If it is the PCS, it isn’t the normal failure by any means.

my 6000 series VIN '24 is consistently gaining new rattles and squeaks - I sat in a brand new one recently and immediately could tell the difference. I haven't checked values recently, but I also don't want to pay for FSD as it came with my FS, and all our other Teslas have the pre-paid FSD as well.
I checked a couple days ago with Tesla and my 2024 2xxx VIN FS AWD offer was almost $75k with 34k miles.

Tempting to upgrade, but there weren’t any on their site to purchase and dropping FSD would be a hit. Gonna live with my rattles for now.

Thank you for the update
My thoughts exactly… your issue doesn’t seem to align with other PCS failures.

Any new updates?

I’m still waiting for delivery of my Premium AWD white interior with all terrain tires & Terrestrial Armor which was “in production” for over 2 weeks.
Now stuck at “in transit to the delivery location” (to SW Washington) for 10 days.
Just wondering if there’s a connection to the PCS situation.
I have read that the Terrestrial Armor adds a great deal of labor to PCS replacement.

Still nothing new. Still don’t know what’s actually wrong. I’ve seen some pretty scary firmware alerts come through on Tessie but they’re actively working on it, so that doesn’t mean much. I will be sure to let you guys know once there is a resolution.

I wanted to upgrade my 2024 Foundation for a new CT, but I was told that FSD could not be transferred from a Foundation vehicle. I see that wasn't the case for some. Makes me a little mad.

I think it depends on the salesman you talk to. Some are able or more willing to work the system better.

If they offered me the FSD transfer I’d do it in a heartbeat I’m stuck like you, although I’m still tempted to trade in to get the new warranty. I’m still waiting for my PCS failure to happen right when I’m off camping this summer or just after I pass 50k… the 4 to 7k I’ll have to pay to fix it is close to what I’ll be paying ind FSD if I just trade out now… maybe I should do it. New truck new tires, better safety better warranty, less issues… anyone able to get them to transfer FSD?

I guess my big concern is I have it included for life, and they said the subscription price might go up. 99 dollars a month isn’t bad but if they go back to 200 or more…

At my Tesla Service Center today.
They were able to confirm that my Cybertruck is on a train to California. After it arrives there, it will be loaded on to a truck to WA.
So no apparent containment hold for PCS…
Also discussed the PCS issue with service.
They said that they are not seeing a big surge in failures as much an a shortage. Replacements are “trickling” in.
So, even though we are seeing more posts of failures here. Might be giving us a false impression.
Of course this is anecdotal. Just one location.
