I recently bought tires, rims & wrap done there and found they were very professional. I was dealing with the Van Nuys branch maybe it was a different location for you. I was sent pictures as they were half way into it the job. Every time I called they picked up the phone, have you tried just picking up the phone, I would be shocked if they weren’t accommodating (assuming you are not a dick while on the phone), it just didn’t seem to be there nature, but again I was dealing with Van Nuys.

Three weeks ago I purchased the CarPlay system from @T Sportline, and not only have they not shipped it out yet they are not responding to any emails. I definitely wouldn't recommend buying anything from them as I'm going to end up having to chargeback this purchase since they are not communicating nor refunding my money.
Something doesn't sound right about this. I have had about 5 orders over the past 2 months and spent about $2,000 with TSportline. I have not had any issues and have had text conversations with their staff when I had questions.

I’m having the same problem with a few vendors who sponsor this site. The problems I have had is a few of these vendors use a US based telephone with WhatsApp support (big red flag) fronting a Chinese company. I have had problems with @Teslaunch and now @CTMODS. It’s interesting because you order, then you get some interesting email with poor English. They promise to ship in a certain amount of time and you MIGHT get your stuff in 30-60 days even though they promise shipping in 5-7 days. I forced a refund on Teslaunch and about to do it on CTMODS. I sent a DM to @Administrator about this but I never heard back. This may be my last time ordering from any vendor on this website because so far it’s not been a pleasant experience. Buyer beware.

PS: I forgot to mention, after ordering from CTMODS, a front for TES Studio, to reorder it from Amazon, and if I give a positive review, they will PayPal me the amount of the product. I responded to them for a link and never got a response. The whole thing stinks to hell.
Not all sponsors here are dishonest foreign vendors who rig reviews and what not. We, for example, design and make our products in-house in our factory in Concord, CA, ship fast, and won’t pay you for a good review :) if you haven’t - check us out - original stuff not just the same copy/paste that a gazillion foreign vendors are making:

Sadly, if it’s on this site, vendors are immune.
Unfortunately, I’ve learned the hard way I can’t trust vendors on here to be professional and/or transparent and/or proactive with communication or status.

Yeah... I certainly don't mean to indict all vendors here. I am sure some, like yourself, are decent.

I just wish this site would vet vendors before taking their money. I have been bitten twice, two in a row on my orders expecting my items to be coming from a US operation with promised shipping of 5-7 days, turning out they are Chinese fronts. It feels super scammy to me. There are 3 or 4 vendors here with different names who all flow back to the same company in China. You can tell by their website. If the website has a "spinner" for discounts when you go to it, it's that company and if you order you will be playing Russian roulette on when you might get your stuff:

These vendors are called drop ship companies. They present a location in the US and then move it from China and do a markup. Example... CTMODs is selling a center console fingerprint safe. They tell you that you are getting 30% off. So they sell it for $158. You think you are getting a deal. Then they drop ship from China. Well if you drop ship yourself off Alibaba, you can get that exact same safe for around $84.

Now I wouldn't mind paying the extra money if I could get it in 7 days. But that doesn't happen, They ship it from China as well and you are still waiting 30-60 days if you are lucky to get the product. Oh... want to return it? You are in for shipping nightmare and fees. It's just not worth it.

Be suspicious if it says shipped from USA.
Still waiting 3 months for roof lights
The tsportline one? Took me like 3 days to get it from time of order. Call and ask for an update is my recommendation.

I had a look the day their YouTube video about the screen dropped. I saw the "Pre-Order" message on the website. ?‍♂ Can't tell you if it was on there DAY ONE, but every time I see something new drop from them on the site, it typically explicitly states when it's a pre-order. Dunno.

That said... The lack of comms on their part is unacceptable. The phone is always a better bet than a generic general public email addy that is likely SPAMMED TO DEATH all day, every day.

I hope this is just a one-off because I was planning to use them to wrap my Beast in the ATL.

A lot of comments on here are understanding of T Sportline because it is a "small business."

However...

As @TWRAPS says, we're not all shipping stuff slowly, or out of China. Personally, I've not worked with T Sportline for a few years now, but they are one of the good guys and have been part of the Tesla community for years. Clearly, they dropped the ball here, but please trust me when I say that no company that's been around for a while would intentionally mislead, ship something broken or defective, or ignore support requests. If we drop the ball, we take it personally (probably too personally!)

There's myriad reasons why that's the case here, maybe buried with Black Friday stuff, email gone to spam etc etc. I'm not making excuses, it's their problem to resolve, but as you've all seen, there's a lot of overseas companies popping up with Shopify sites that generally appear to be US-based, until you get the shipping notice. Most of these companies just drop-ship and bypass import duty (and why not, it's an exploitable loophole) and can ship from China for less than domestic companies can ship down the road. I'm hoping there's a leveling of the playing field coming soon, but who knows.

By the way, it's not against any payment processor rules to take payment for pre-orders, as long as you have a good estimated ship date, and ship within 2 weeks of that, but there are best-practices that suggest it's best not to take payment, or at least full payment, until the product has shipped.

This should be posted as a pending charge on the card until the merchandise is shipped. Merchant should not be taking funds (actually posting the transaction) prior to shipment being released. You do you, but it’s also against GAAP to take funds without any fulfillment so your auditors should flag such aberrant practices.

Of course, if you make it clear that a 20% deposit is collected up front, so be it, clear that transaction. BUT it’s still not revenue and the 80% on fulfillment should be processed as a second transaction in that case.
