I have PV and Battery from Enphase at my house. The Enphase system has several sets of pilot contacts
that can be used for load control.

Right now one contact controls a 50A contactor that feeds 240VAC to EVSE.

I have a second Tesla and need a second charger.

I am wondering if it's possible/practical/reasonable/safe to use another pilot contact to activate
a new, small signal, relay in the EVSE that opens the PP wire just like pushing the button on the handle?

Is the continuous release signal going to burn up the release in the vehicle?

What else am I missing?

Anyone come up with other ways to disable the EVSE without adding an external, full current, contactor

Thanks

Sounds like you want various load shedding based on power generation.

Opening PP is different than pressing the button.

Switching the vehicle's CP signal to +12 would theoretically be equivilent to the EVSE saying it can't source power.
