VIN removed from my account.

My Cybertruck VIN has been sitting in a rail yard west of Dallas for the last week according to my delivery specialist. Yesterday (3/6/24) Tesla listed it as damaged and removed it from my account. Has anyone heard of a railway accident west of Dallas in the last week? I'm sure I'm not the only one who has now had a vehicle damaged in transit with the weather we have had. See pictures of the one in Colorado. Now to start waiting for another VIN.

There was a Car Carrier involved in a MVA this week where there were 2 cybertrucks..on social media....but I thought that was in CO?

There are hundreds of minor derailments every year in the US, the vast majority never get any press. It only takes a small failure and a car is disabled, and its contents damaged or delayed.

Yes, just south of Colorado Springs, CO on I-25. None of the Teslas on the auto transport came untethered during the roll-over (actually "side-over") event by the auto transporter. Good job rigging, bad job paying attention while driving!

I don't think that truck's driver's attention was the issue, being as the truck was hit from multiple angles.

Note to auto transporters: Pay the F** attention!

"According to Colorado State Patrol, the semi was traveling on I-25 when the driver hit a barrier on the right side of the roadway. The driver overcorrected and ricocheted across the southbound lanes, hitting a barrier on the opposite side of the road. The semi then hit an oncoming Ford F-150, followed by a Silverado. The impact caused the semi to flip onto its side.

The trucker, along with the driver in the F-150, were uninjured, but both the teen driver and his passenger in the Silverado suffered serious injuries and were transported to the hospital."

Damaged doesn’t just mean an accident, plenty of vandalism happens at and near rail yards. It’s possible it was vandalized.

Tesla gave me another VIN on 3/8/24. It is 976 higher than my previous one 16 days earlier.
