Voucher System is BS!

Why give us 2500 dollars we can’t spend!!?! Everything is out of stock. They should let us use it in software upgrades or super charging. The only thing we can get is a tent… and it will cost us money to do that! Maybe I should be able to get FSD on my other Tesla or premium connectivity. So basically here’s your cash to buy things in our store but we have nothing to sell you and you have a year to spend it… and all in one go! Have fun!!

Not only that when you do buy something with the voucher you can only do it once. I got my voucher and needed a gen 3 charger. So i ordered it and used my voucher and guess what? That's it i cans use it again. You can use it once and you lose the rest. Tesla got me on that one.

That is total BS. If I had not just happen to catch a post that someone made about it being a one use deal, I would have made the same mistake. There is no other purpose to do that except screwing people out of the rest of the voucher.

There absolutely should be an "Are you sure?" popup warning you how much you will forfeit before you submit, otherwise this isn't just a poor implementation, it's a SCAM. ?

Info only: The current CCS adapter is NOT compatible with the CT.

I wasn’t sure if you meant waiting for a CT compatible version to drop or for the price to drop, haha!!

Not compatible in that it doesn't fit. But it does work and fit when used with EVJect which I plan on doing.

1 Voucher can only be used once exclusively on Shop.Tesla.com. Any unused balance remaining after the transaction will be forfeited.

I'm still waiting for the power share to ship. I was a week away from having everything installed when Tesla announced the voucher program. The contractor told me I would have to order the equipment and reschedule once I had it, basically delaying everything by a month and a half (hopefully).

Honestly, there should be a backorder function like every other online store. You should be able to place the order for all the items you want, apply the voucher and pay any overage, then wait for the items to be shipped. Having to get lucky enough to have all of the things you want actually in stock when you order is ridiculous.

You should be able to place the order for all the items you want, apply the voucher and pay any overage, then wait for the items to be shipped. Having to get lucky enough to have all of the things you want actually in stock when you order is ridiculous.

Any ideas on how we could all complain to Tesla in a way that would change this? Mob Elon on Twitter? All send identical complaints to the same person?

X definitely seems like a good way to get his attention. Let’s all post the following:
Elonmusk: Why is there no backorder system for the Tesla store? Having to spend the shop voucher included with Cybertruck Foundation Series all at once is really frustrating because all the things you want are rarely all in stock at the same time. So many other less sophisticated online retailers can do this, why not Tesla?
