Washer Fluid type?

Does anyone know if the washer fluid is added at the factory, or at the delivery center? Because the stuff I got was gross. Pretty sure it was rubbing alcohol with blue toilet water, it stained my fingers and cleaned poorly. I opted to run the washer pump for 5 minutes until it all pumped out, and start over with a fresh batch of just generic washer fluid from Autozone.

While I was at it, I cleaned the windshield with a clay bar and applied RainX, which seems to have improved BAW performance. (It required a stepladder for me to reach the whole thing, and now I'm exhausted lmao)

Whatever it is it is bad, stained my son's shirt and was a sticky mess. Would have rather they put straight water in it than whatever that sludge was.

It must be the same stuff they used in my Model 3. It's bright blue and leaves a mess. Last time the mobile tech was at my house, he offered to refill it---Thanks but No Thanks

Yeah it's basically spraying blue kool-aid all over the truck on every squirt. I find myself staring through bug guts rather that hit that little button.

Weird. I didn’t get that. Mine seemed like it was just normal wiper fluid. Have used alot of it so far due to shitty weather.

I asked the dealer for more, but they said it was from the factory ?

I'll drain mine and replace it with Dior Sauvage X Baccarat Special Edition cologne. After being on the hook for $110K, it seems befitting to use this $8,200 men after shave.

I'm not sure if this tool would help, but I've used a door step, that I keep in my current car. Look for "
"Rightline Gear Moki Door Step". It attaches where the door latches. So I'm not sure if that puts it too far aft to help.

This has been my go-to washer fluid concentrate for years. It’s amazing how well it works.

And unlike everything else BMW, it‘s actually a good value, haha!! $3.00 a bottle.

Also, you can mix it as strong as you’d like. I usually go one bottle of concentrate in two gallons of water.

If you don’t have a BMW dealer nearby, they sell it at Mini dealers, too.

That kind of puts the price of the Cybertruck into perspective. You can get about a dozen bottles of high-end cologne or a new Cybertruck!

I liked the washer fluid that came in our Model 3's, and yes, it was tinted blue. But I rarely have any occasion to go to the Service Center, so I just refill it with a mixture of isopropyl alcohol, to keep it from freezing in the winter, and this:

A tiny bottle makes about 16-18 gallons of fluid once I add some alcohol for anti-freeze and pure water. Cleans better than the crap you can buy at American auto part stores and smells better too.
