I don’t know if others have similar experience, but as I drive around in CT, most reactions are good/fun, but I’ve had several teenagers flip me off, yell “I hate your truck”, and just today, a girl roll down her window and just yell “F*ck You”.

Perhaps it’s the storyline that they’re dangerous? Or bad for the environment? Something on TikTok saying they’re evil?

*Update
To be clear, I don’t really care that there are people that don’t like it, I love the truck and care about my reasons. But I am curious some of the why’s behind the hate, and it’s been interesting to hear other owner’s exp with different groups.
Keep your windows up.

I took my 17 year old niece and some of her friends to the mall in my Lightning. They loved the frunk when I put all their bags in there. I said "my frunk is going to be a bit smaller soon when my CT gets here."

I didn't expect the negative reaction at this point, but they all basically told me I was awful for buying it. The only one who gave a reason was that it is incredibly unsafe with no crumple zone, any occupant gets severely hurt in a crash even if the truck looks fine. Then that's all they talked about, how unsafe the CT was, until I dropped them off at home.
Need to buy new kids and accessory friends to come with it.

Live in CO didn't have these issues so far. Just the hypocrites in Wash Park.

Don't flatter yourself.

You made no point with that crazy equation and display of paranoia. :D
Are you suffering from EDS (Elon Derangement Syndrome)? Was this you?

I have a neighbor who has informed me that his friend who has a CT…… it was tagged and vandalized with spray paint this week. ELoN SUCKs and other derogatory shit was spray painted all over their truck. (Glendale CA.) I am a bit nervous to park on the street as I must , so it’s a quandary. I guess my new two tone wrap from TSportline will protect me. Assholes exist everywhere. CT Family stand strong.

What accident did the Cybertruck crumble zones not work?
I never said that. I said that there is a concept by misinfomed YouTube watchers that they don't work.

Everything that I've seen indicate that the Cybertruck's and for the matter other vehicles crumble zones worked perfectly.

Most people don't understand that in the ICE, the crumble zone process nominally consists of the engine breaking lose and going under the car. When you see the front-end of a car demolished, that's "as designed"

I am, my Tesla stocks, my biggest weight or holdings in my portfolio is also the biggest loser.

And that's due to Elon's crazy tweets and latest toxic personality and psychiatric disorder.

That's what shrink doctors will say, Aspergers Syndrome Hyde-and-Jekyll: One genius, the other narcissism-egotistical-paranoia-extremism.

How about you, you still able to maintain a place in his behind to plant your lips? :p

Or, did you just joined your 2nd cult?

And you can retire that tired and overused "syndrome" term.

You have no counter-argument anyways for the lies and crazy antics of the people who is this used, the other one, for his crimes and amoral behaviours.

There was a group of teens in pickup trucks across the parking lot while I was talking to my friend while standing next to my CT. I think they were triggered because when their group started to leave one of the trucks pulled up next to us and “tried” to do a burnout.

And by tried I mean fail horribly lol! There was no burn and he was just out… when I heard it I thought his truck actually broke down behind us because he could not get the back wheels going fast enough and there was just a clunking grinding sound ??

We just shrugged and gave him a confused look…

I have had the opposite reaction. It’s the teenagers and young people (under 30) in general that give me the most enthusiastic and positive responses. I notice the middle aged ice drivers sometimes sneer at me but not a ton. The funniest thing is most ICE pickup drivers go out of their way to pretend they don’t notice me.

I had different response. Teens are more excited about Cybertruck lol. In fact a group of teens stopped from their bicycle ride and took their selfies on one occasion and gave thumps up. In another occasion got cheers and wishes. This happened New England though.
