What do we know about the Tesla “on the road” chair?

Obviously there is a Tesla tax. Worth it? Helionox chairs similar to this are also not cheap. Wondering if the rotating feature is useful or just a failure point that makes it heavier too.

I *do* like the swivel feature a lot but agree it is a failure point. I guess that is why they made the footprint so small - so it will tip over before too much bending stress is applied to the coupler.

Seriously. Need some more truth in advertising. You get to sit in it after they are all sick of it and moved on.

So here's the verdict.

I ordered 2 and I'm keeping them.

They fold up really small. And they open up pretty small too. There's nothing uncomfortable about them. The swivel function is smooth and works well.

Cool. I ordered them too. Haven’t arrived yet. Glad to hear you like them.

That is pretty small and compact. Easy to throw under the back seat or in the gear locker. Always having a chair on standby might make these worth it. Longevity is the real kicker in my opinion

I agree. I like to enjoy a cigar while supercharging and I usually sit in the frunk. Its ok but nowhere near a comfortable as sitting in a chair such as this one. This is definitely going to get used quite a bit. Seems sturdy, don't really see it breaking with it being used occasionally
