Ours was top notch for what I like. Short and sweet.

Walk in. Hi Outdoors. Ready to get started? Showroom was silent and coffee was given to us as we briefly chatted.

DL's shown
2 documents actual sign for state.
Inspected exterior on way in as detailer was finishing.
I accepted delivery on phone. Said have a nice day. They offered a full explanation of truck and features. I declined.
Delivery agent ran back out to truck with copies of documents signed, and registration along with trinket gifts. I handed the plastic covers on screens and lights and warning stickers back to agent.

Drove away.

Less than 15 minutes tops. First person in the truck was our Uber driver that wants now wants to buy a 3.

I value this type of process, and is one of the reasons why I like Tesla. If I want a car I can just get it. Any other brand I don't even know where to start these days.

Glad to hear they are doing away with the fog machines, music, and gathering employees.Spend that time making sure the truck is problem free and getting me out the door.
Sounds like a great delivery.

Lol, yeah, I wonder how annoyed Tesla delivery center employees get when people show up for a delivery with their entire roster of family and a friends, with everyone holding up their giant phones up recording video of everything.

Congrats @Outdoors ! That is most excellent! Was this at the Liberty Lake, WA Delivery Center? Friendly place!

I don't understand the people who want to be treated like they are some kind of royalty. I want to be treated courteously, preferably with a smile, by someone who seems to genuinely like their job and who is competent at what they do and get my new chariot with zero dinking around and hit the road.

Were you one of the first CT's at Liberty Lake? Your profile says "NW Montana". Are you in Flathead Valley? If so, probably one of the first 2 or 3 Cybertrucks in the Valley! I hope you drive it around and show it off in a positive manner to the other locals. Be nice to the few haters and know they are just brainwashed and ignorant. I christen you as the new Flathead Valley Tesla Cybertruck Brand Ambassador!

Enjoy the Cybertruck and be sure to post some pictures with beautiful Montana background scenery before too much of the alpine snow melts. Congrats again!

Yes it was. Liberty Lake. I wrote a snail mail hand written letter to Elon regarding our experience, and how it was down to a science yet it was completely relaxed at the same time. Was wondering if oxygen was being pumped in or something.

Going to pass on the Flathead Ambassadorship. Though the thought goes along with my view as being an ambassador of our planet is what I try to do. Very proud to be in Lincoln County. I go to Costco in Kalispell. Raft the Flathead. Yet I try to avoid the Flathead Valley at each and every opportunity I can. Sorry to disappoint. We never want to become Whitefish North, and will do all we can to keep it our way. We live by the code of the west. Just different peeps. Peace☮🕊.

You may have misunderstood what I meant by being a Tesla ambassador. I consider anyone driving their Tesla in public view in a responsible and considerate manner to be an "ambassador". You don't have to network or talk to people, just be a considerate motorist.

I love demonstrating the silent performance of my Model 3 P when I am in pole position at a stoplight on the State Highway. I am generally a quarter mile ahead of the traffic backed up at the stoplight before the first cars behind me cross the intersection. It's silent, legal and free of drama. I know what this looks like to other drivers and passengers, it looks unreal, like magic. It makes them question what a car can be. The first thought some of them probably have is "Oh, he must not care about his weekly gas bill", but before that thought is complete, they realize I don't have a gas bill. That gets the EV gears turning in their head. Most motorists still have no idea what an EV can be (even if they know intellectually, they can accelerate quickly). Seeing it makes it real.

I consider part of being an ambassador is to always be considerate to other drivers. Never ride their ass, never cut in front of them, never spook them, never cruise in the fast lane when I am not over-taking slower moving traffic. I make it a point to never block the cross streets when traffic is backed up, always let a car trying to enter traffic slip in front of me when it's legal and appropriate to do so and always avoid pissing off those behind me. I will often cruise fast, above the posted limit, as most other motorists do, but only when it's safe and appropriate.

I love Lincoln County, MT, a few years ago, I had a surreal solo early morning ride on my Ducati ST4s going up Koocanusa Highway without a soul on the road. Just some cool early morning fog, sunshine and a bike between my legs. Such a remote place to have such a nice road. Enjoy your new ride!

That’s the experience my wife and I were looking forward to. Short, sweet and get the hell out. I want the truck, not the experience. Ours ended up being 2 1/2 hours for another reason but we ended up leaving happy.

I had a flawless delivery experience at Tesla in MDR, and they put on a little show:

As I drove it out they were waiting to see my reaction to how it steers, as I drove it around their lot.
I got my Model 3 Delivery there. MDR goes way over the top for expectations. I was amongst 15 or 20 deliveries, and we all threw hats in the air at the same time. There was nitro espresso on tap as well.

My delivery was straightforward. Even though I was the first appointment of the day (10AM) they were already busy and had multiple CTs lined up. They paired my phone, calibrated the vault cover, and let me fuss with the controls until I was comfortable.

Ironically, I somehow managed to crack the "Home" button on my iPhoneSE on the drive there, but I needed to accept delivery in the app...??!? The phone is virtually impossible to operate without that button, but fortunately I could ask Siri to open apps lol.

They took photos of the CT with the DeLorean and asked permission to post them, I said I'd be waiting for Elon's DM
