Alot of good stuff here. I would like charts and active monitoring of torques, angles and that stuff.

Also would be really cool to be able to modify and change parameters, Invision a whole page or tab for this, changing how different modes react/behave.

Software that uses the Tesla custom chip and the AMD gaming chip to mine crypto, when it's parked and it's profitable.

How about the front facing cameras be aware of a Drag Tree and be able to auto launch on green for that near perfect reaction time. =)

I do a decent chunk of adventure motorcycle riding. I have a few choice phone apps that download maps local and allows me to get fairly remote without worry of reception. Of course, I keep paper maps as a backup, but having the ability to use download and store, separate from my GPS (and paper maps) would be a neat, tiny feature that adds a lot of utility for my use-cases.

I would like to be able to lift each wheel by itself. So I could change tires without a jack. Let me raise it and put a block under the A arm and change the tire, easy peasy.
This would also remove the need for a high lift jack.
Lift the wheel, chock under the wheel with Max trax or rocks/logs then drive on.

Love this tread. Great ideas. CTOC.com has some very good depth. Best Guess?

TSLA keeps the center console and compute power locked down dedicated. Any extras, alternate software and vehicle integration will likely be fully independent. Like AAPL, TSLA will cherry pick those that sell more Teslas. Those that they integrate Tesla will innovate in an order of magnitude of improvement to have on the center computer and monitor.

Seems like they are approaching autonomy from a different angle than Tesla. Tesla is shooting for the stars with general autonomy that works pretty much anywhere. Honda seems to be starting with a specific case at a time (in the video, one specific job site) and each case has to be specifically defined by humans ahead of time with location boundaries.

Over time, Tesla wants to be able to use their general intelligence case in multiple modes live robotaxis, Teslabots, etc. Honda is probably trying to build up enough specific cases to then be able to slowly expand into more general situations.

Time will tell which approach will win out.
