It sounded like her spouse holds the purse strings in the household and probably didn't like Elon's pushback on gender mutilation of children and special rights for LGBTQ+ (Elon believes LBGTQ+ should have the same rights as everyone else, not additional rights). It can be pretty hard to release tens of thousands of dollars to the company of a man who appears to be against the very politics that you support. I'm guessing her spouse just said "Hell No". Crissa probably still wants a Cybertruck but can't afford one.

Oh well. I mean it always helps to have more people buy the vehicle so that tesla keeps iterating and making them better, but the reality is that when the most enthusiast people cant afford it… they cant afford it.

She wasn't a troll. She was headstrong at times but I found most of her postings to add value to the conversation. She could get off base at times once the conversations turned to experiences rather than speculation.

Not me… I won’t miss her one iota. She was a “know it all” and made a lot of pontifications about crap she knew nothing about. She argued with firefighters about how to fight fire, Chemists about chemistry, lawyers about law, and doctors about medicine. She just wouldn’t let go. Like @REM, she muted me because I would point out the errors of her ways. What a complete waste of my time.

Yep. She would get real strident about things that she just didn’t know about. I had a couple of such squabbles with her. She also had some good points occasionally. But mostly she was prolific.

It warms my heart to see someone like @CyberGus at the top of the leaderboard now instead with a fraction of the amount of posts because — quality over quantity.

I hope she’s well and enjoying whatever EV she ended up getting. Although I feel like she’s still around, I feel like she liked one of my posts sometime in the later part of last year.

Update: Yep, her last post was November 2025.
