Got vin number at 3pm. 68 days
Started processing purchase.
Got insurance
Then it asked for picture of payment check??? R they on drugs??
Can't get check till on the way to delivery. Have not gotten to that part of app. Who ever heard of this??
Can't go to next process.
Anyone had this happen????

Coming up on five years since my order. Annoying to see late order people paying the 20k special "get your truck now" fee. Held out investing the money pigeon holed in the thought that I would be driving it two years ago. Who's the idiot? This guy.

Yes, the entire tesla team is definitely on drugs.... obviously a very logical conclusion.

You're in a queue for the truck. The app is just taking you through a standard process. You do need to be able to pay them before they give you the truck. I received a prequal check for a loan a month before I needed it. If you're paying without financing, you ach the money and you're done.

I applied through nfcu. They sent me a check after I qualified for the requested amount that could be used for up to and less than the stated amount. I paid a down payment ASAP and sent in a screen of the check. They were good with that. Once I arrived, I thought they'd need the check, but they just shredded it for me and confirmed the transfer directly with nfcu. It was all sorts of banking magic I know nothing about, but it all turned out just fine.

Cool. Here the credit union is 5 miles from SC. They did same process when I bought my S years ago.

Patience gentlemen! I took delivery on Tuesday, it's worth the wait! I will say I like being the only Cybertruck around (there are 3 others I know of) at any one time. I have yet to see any others while driving around and there is a joy in that. haha!

Soon we will all be on the road together!
