because it's absolutely inevitable that the truck is going to ramp up. At$ 2k to $4k for a rack system X 100k trucks that's a big chunk of money. It does not make sense for accessory manufacturers to gear up production before they are certain of imminent ramp up. Why concentrate on CT if they will only make less than 100k units in 2024? Better to put effort and $$ into the ICE truck market. Just saying.
Inevitable? Not quite. If Tesla cannot bring costs down price will limit the number of units sold. Tesla would then have to throttle back production. I love the CT but the jury is out as to eventual market share. If I owned an accessory company I would prioritize for my known market.because it's absolutely inevitable that the truck is going to ramp up. bwahahhaa. you really think that about production? Tesla is doing everyting they can to produce and at the numbers of orders placed. "hey, let's spend a ton of money and then don't do anything" lol. Orders are crazy and reflected on investor meeting with numbers. As for people making after market parts accessories for the truck, they are ramping up now that they have the specs. It's a gold mine and they are striking it rich. Just look it up on YouTube. heck just Google Cybertruck. Wraps, wheels, racks, tires, etc, it's a gold mine.Inevitable? Not quite.
