It seems to be much higher output now than the weeks leading up to end of June.

What makes you think that Tesla is the most secretive? Until Tesla no one ever heard anything from auto makers unless they were marketing a new vehicle. At least, that is what I recall. It is true that Tesla holds news until they are ready to release it but that seems normal.

I wouldn't say "no one". Many decades ago while in college I worked for a Ford dealer in sales. We would frequently discuss Ford's production numbers in meetings. And unlike Tesla, when a customer ordered a F-150, even a cheap one, it didn't take 1 year to produce and deliver. They were put in que like everyone else and generally it was first come, first served.

I love Tesla as a company but they are not the best a customer communication and support, at least based on my limited 2 vehicle, soon to be 3, ownership.

I recall one of the Cybertruck lines was repurposed for Cybercab and that is Tesla's current focus. Also, they are essentially 1 shift building Cybertruck on order but the base model's popularity caught them by surprise. It's a great vehicle and I hope more people begin to realize the comfort, utility and autonomy they provide to we mere humans who can't even begin to GROK AI.

Maybe it also has to do with $ & c , MY probably more profitable per vehicle or per day of production 🤔

We all hate to admit this but our Cybertruck sales is not even 1% of 3 and Y
This will change in short order; especially once Optimus is ready for deployment.

I am a pretty active viewer of Joe Tegtmeyer & Airwave Dynamics on YT/X, and from all of the footage over the past few months Gigatexas has seemed to not ramp up Cybertruck production at all.

Every week I see hundreds of Model 3/Y, with a few Cybertrucks sprinkled in. Heck, I see more Cybercabs than Cybertrucks at this point. Which is crazy because they aren't even for sale yet LOL.

I am currently waiting on my own SAWD Cybertruck, but seeing these videos makes me wonder why production is so slow. They have a backup until 2027, so idk why they wouldn't push through orders more heavily. There's no way they are at the capacity they list as possible.
I am a CT resident and I am starting to have 2nd thoughts about going to the trouble of picking up another Tesla vehicle since Connecticut forbids Tesla sales here, but they tax all new vehicles at about 7.75% and the town tax accessors tax at the mil rate (plenty) and our electric rates are high. Connecticut is a "sanctuary state" but not for Tesla owners! Karl Marx should be proud!

Parts! Parts! Parts! The parts pipeline needs to be sped up. Not all parts are made by Tesla. That assembly line can be run in multiple shifts, but you need the parts to supply it.

I'm sure the supply chain was more than a little disappointed that Tesla wasn't ordering Cybertruck parts at the expected levels 250,000/yr. They're doing approximately 5% of that so those contracts must also be worth 5% of the projections. Tough way to run a business when your customer reduces the quantities by 95%. It's a basic business issue that should have been anticipated by both sides. Very hard to recover from that kind of quantity error and Optimus can't fix it ...
