It's freezing out, I hop in the Cybertruck, and the yoke heats up like a cozy spaceship... except the two little scroll wheels. Those bad boys stay ice-cold.
So I'm cruising with warm palms, but my thumbs are parked on literal frozen hockey pucks. The contrast hits so hard my brain screams: "THUMBS ARE ON FIRE!! 🔥"
Not actual pain—just pure, confused panic. Like your thumbs are being betrayed by physics.
Am I the only one getting phantom thumb burns, or is this a secret Cybertruck feature?

huh interesting. It doesn't usually get cold where I am, but I don't keep thumbs on the scroll wheels. Do you never accidentally scroll or push them? I rest my thumbs on the part that connects the stalk to the outer part of the steering wheel (when going two-handed) until needed

Sure, I appreciate the curiosity. I didn't realize I kept them there either until I noticed this.I rest them there sometimes, and also other places on the yoke. It is a comfortable place for my thumbs. For scale, I can palm a basketball. Never accidentally press them, mine are pretty stiff!
