No. There should not be a gap there. If the 3M tape was applied properly and the brackets were torque down properly, there should be no gap. That’s what’s causing your whistling noise.

In aeronautics terms, the angle of attack from the turbulent air is what’s causing the whistling noise between the bottom leading edge of the light bar and the roof of the vehicle due to the likely 1 mm space from the improper installation.

Put some masking tape or green frog tape on the entire width of the bottom edge of the light bar and drive it on the highway. Easy test.

If that solves the issue, leave the tape on and take it to the service center and have them ride with you with the tape on and after you remove the tape
