Wind Shield Cracked while parked

Okay I may have spoke to soon . I just found out that my front dome light do not turn on at all, they must have forgot to reconnect the wires after they installed the windshield. On top of that the A frame on the driver side (the little window section) and the upper door frame on the passenger side is loose, it appears they had to pull the interior section to fit the windshield and either damaged it or didn't snap it back into place. Now I am worried because there are speakers along those frames. I don't have pictures yet will post them tmr morning on here. I guess that is what happens when you are the first CT to get a wind shield replaced at this SC..... sigh

I have an appointment set up for July 1st at 9 AM.

Keep us updated! Mine is being replaced on the 24th I want to know what to look for and know what to point out at the service center so they don't have follow up problems. ??

Following as I’m also a Floridian and I’m wondering about heat impact.

I was getting ready to post a thread asking Southern owners how the CT fares being parked outside now that we are getting into the heat of the summer. Mine will live outside because the classics are in the garage, plus the CT won’t fit anyway.

My cars outside have windshield sunscreens and are covered. I’m hoping that will be sufficient for the CT.

OP, please keep us updated on the resolution.

I’m in Fort Lauderdale and my CT is parked outside 100% of the time. Very interested in how the heat impacts the windshield, interior and the tonneau/tailgate control buttons.

Here are some photos:
If anything just check on your interior frame, dashboard, dome lights and rearview mirror unit, and wiper functions after your windshield gets replaced.
