Does anyone else have this issue with the windshield wiper moving from left to right about quarter of an inch when speeds over 65mph are reached. Im noticing either a motor issue or software glitch occuring when my CT hits 65mph and the wiper moves back and forth on the left side in the default state. Its strange. I feel like eventually itll just break off.

Am I the only one here having this issue???

I’ve seen the same behavior on my truck and it’s super bizarre and inconsistent. Not sure what’s causing it, but I haven’t reported it yet, either.

no way this is a glitch or software issue likely from an update I think, or possibly a motor issue in the arm itself. unsure. my washer fluid container is cracked as well and will be replaced under warrenty and they will address this concern as well. just curious if anyone else has this issue

I’ve noticed that there are times that the wiper will stay in the horizontal position after I initiate a manual wipe. In order to get it back into the vertical position I need to click the wiper button a few times and eventually it will stop in the vertical position

This is expected behavior over a certain speed. Can’t remember if it was 35 or 45 mph. It stays down to keep water from immediately coming back up the windshield.

This wiper is the most awesome wiper I've ever had. It clears the entire width of the windshield in one massive stroke (and does a really good job too).

The wiper is heated too, for dealing with winter weather.

I have see the same thing, I thought it was broken and loose so it was wiggling but seems like everyone has the same issue. Also everyone we are not talking about the wiper going into the horizontal position and holding. We are talking about shaking in the default vertical position at high speed. Almost like it’s going to fly off.

If the movement is erratic, it could be buffeting. the air is in "puffs" and makes it move as the air pressure changes. Roll down your window, and see if it changes some. Or .. put your hand in the air and you will feel the buffeting. Air is not a steady flow.

I thought it was wind at first, but I've noticed when it's happening on my truck, it'll continue doing so even when I'm at a complete stop. Once I stop somewhere and exit the vehicle, it stops and may or may not do it again on the next drive. It just seems a bit odd and I would think is not great on the wiper blade to be constantly wiggling back and forth, let alone the constant twitching of the wiper motor.

Even in the Vertical position, it moves slightly for better aero.

"While driving in the rain, the wiper blade may pause in the horizontal position for approximately 30 seconds before continuing to wipe the windshield. The blade may also move slightly based on vehicle speed to make Cybertruck more aerodynamic."

The red is talking about the wiper moving from its vertical stored position to facilitate better aero. I don't know why it would appear to be sporadic though. Perhaps it seems that way as the software keeps it in position longer than you'd think it should.
