Glad to see Tesla is no longer stonewalling on V2L / V2H.

11.5kW out the NACS port / 9.6kW V2L is pretty good.

I wonder how long it will be until third parties reverse engineer this, or if it will be "have to buy the entire Tesla ecosystem" forever...

Link. This is awesome and i am really glad Elon didn't stick to his guns regarding just buying a powerwall. You can use the CT and Tesla charger to power your house or another vehicle. Thank you Elon! I hope this is new and I am not just ignorant here.

I think I got a couple off my list today... 😁

But I completely missed the pricing...there was some interesting info on Now you Know, with one guy talking about how it's economically not good to kill off your competition prematurely.

It also says if you have powerwalls and a wall connector already then it will work without additional hardware. That is pretty nice. I already have a powerwall but having extra capacity would be great.

LRA
Locked Rotor Amperage (LRA) is the highest current a motor can draw.
It's also known as inrush current.
LRA is a measure of the current draw when full voltage is applied to the motor during startup. LRA conditions only last for a few seconds.

I have 3 power meters on my house, 1 for car charging (reduced rate), 1 for geothermal (reduced rate) and 1 for house main. I don't think I'll be able to power my house or geothermal from a connected Cybertruck unless there are fancy transfer switches or something.

Thats a correct assessment. Your need a series of transfer switches and most AHJs would never permit that
