I'll guess 40% with the price increases. If dual goes from 50k to 65k I think the increase is enough to shake many off the Tesla bandwagon. I personally need to see one in person with all the final features and to test drive before i 100% commit.

I disagree. After seeing it in person, it is such an impressive beast I can't see anyone stepping away from a reservation. I mean, I was hooked even before seeing it, for sure. But seeing it with my own eyes, there's no fucking way I'm not gonna own one. It's a real, live representation of the future of trucks. Even after three years, it's so futuristic, if aliens are looking at us right now, they're gonna be like "Earth is way too advanced for us, let's not boil the skin off their bodies. They're gonna fuck us up!"

We may count ourselves lucky to have pre-ordered.

The thing can float. It's not a speed boat, but a TINNY will be enough to have people lining up as far as the eye can see.

We live in a very nice place. There are gorgeous sunsets, fantastic mountain vistas, and great places to ride our bikes. Every once in a while I say “I am very lucky to live here”. But then correct myself. I’m not here because of luck. I came here once and loved it so much I stayed.

I feel the same about the Cybertruck. When I saw it, I knew I loved it. I’m not “Lucky” to have a pre-order. I watched the launch video with the expectation it was something I was very interested in. Once I saw the prices, I knew it was happening.

Only bit of luck? I was born in the US and had parents that helped me get where I am in life.

The rest was choice.

Tesla employees have been impressively closed lipped about the Cybertruck.
I think all of 50 people know everything right now.

mice mentioned it before but Hummer EV had a cool doc behind the development. Insanely small team.I think that’s every bit as big of a project as this is.

I think confirmation of any features won't come until June or July.

I agree with @greggertruck on this one. I'd almost go as far as to say you'll hear this specifically - "Next month, we'll have some interesting things to share with you about Cybertruck"

It's based purely on speculation, but it's timely with Semi getting first deliveries. It could be a double header, Semi update / Cybertruck details.

Gonna post all m guesses of production vehicle(s) in a thread... Just cause. We need more threads around here ;)

More threads, sure. I mean, what else are we going to do in relation to Cybertrucks?
I was thinking a fun one might be "Cybertruck questions. Wrong answers only." :)

I have a family member that loves to pull out pictures and tell everyone it's so ugly when it comes up, immature and seemingly antagonistically. I just finally started agreeing with her. Kinda disarmed her. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Like yea, it's ugly. I love it. I'll rip the axles of your garbage Honda micro crossover. ha

I’d suggest if the F*&ing GigaPress doesn’t roll into Giga Austin soon the chances of a Novermber event are much much lower.

Maybe they have spies looking for the drone operators and snuck it in when they weren’t looking.

The drone pilots all have to file their flights ahead of time so it wouldn't be too hard for Tesla to avoid them if they want to keep something secret. Joe and Jeff fly in the morning. They alternate days with Joe on Mon, Wed, Fri and Jeff on Tue, Thur, Sat. That's USUALLY when they fly but holidays and bad weather move those around a little. The other two fly so infrequently now that it shouldn't be hard to avoid them either.

I agree with your assessment that if we don't see the GigaPress soon, Novemer's event may just turn into an earnings call without much info. Well, they may say something about the GigaPress being inbound. One thing that should help the new one get set up faster is that they've had plenty of time to route electrical, set up flues, do the concrete work, etc.

Can't wait to see CTCs laying around! (CyberTruck Castings)

Agree.
Except earnings call is this month, next week if I recall. November would be some other event.
