The last 3 cars that I have had, have all been totaled by being hit from the rear while the the car is not moving.
G35, G37 and a Rav4.
I bought the Rav4 as a beater car to get me back and forth to work while waiting on the Cybertruck.
So I had to get another car to wait for the Cybertruck.

I ordered a Model 3 and I had a confirmed delivery for March 31. Because of purchase being in Texas, I had to provide funds and proof insurance to Tesla, before I could pick up the car. So as of March 27, the car was paid for and I provided proof of insurance. So as of March 27th I have an active loan and active insurance. On the evening of March 30th, I get a text saying that there has been a delay in the transportation of the model 3.

When I selected the car from inventory, there was no delivery fee associated with the car. I assumed that meant that the car was somewhere in the DFW area in Texas.

I started texting back and forth with someone at Tesla. ( All of the text are from 510 area code). And it appears that multiple people use the same phone number and you don't know who you are texting with.

They told me there was a delay getting the car from Austin to Dallas and the car should be in Dallas the next day(Saturday). Well that didn't happen either. Then I noticed that the delivery date in the Tesla app had changed to April 6th. I tried texting with a Tesla agent to get an update on the car. They wouldn't/couldn't give me an update on the car, except for the change in the delivery date.
I asked for compensation, because I had an active loan and insurance on a car that I didn't have. They told me they don't give compensation on delivery issues.
So from my viewpoint, I am paying loan interest on a car I don't have and I'm paying for insurance on a car I don't have. And Tesla failed to deliver the car on the date they promised. Which was used as the base on when to start the loan and insurance. As of the 6th, I will have been waiting for a 3rd of a month and paying for a car I don't own.

This has to get better.

Tesla stock dipped after their Q1 production announcement. Record vehicle output but Wall Street is nervous about the number of unsold vehicles.

I product another price drop is coming soon on their vehicles. The Treasury department will adjust the federal tax credit this month and Tesla is increasing production. They need to move the metal and lower prices increases demand and sells cars.

Seven days is not a third of a month.

But yeah, that sucks that they took your money and didn't give you a car. You're out, what, seven days of a rental plus seven days on interest on your down payment?

I was speaking about the 6th. That will be 10 days since I paid for the car.

That's not ten days from when they promised you the car, tho. You can't count days that were in the original deal.

Well, you can, but it's not honest.

Delivery delays happen. I bought something for my wife for Christmas, and the website said delivery by Dec 15. It didn't arrive until Jan 6. They just said sorry, delays can happen. It sucked. I was glad I had another present for her or it would have been a grumpy Christmas. I didn't get any compensation, and the product is good. Just the way the world works. Sucks, but as long as they get it to you this week it's not a lot to complain about. Any more and you could start making a stink and maybe people would care. Or write the paper Jeff Bezos owns, he's loves a good anti-Tesla story.

A bad experience is getting your Jeep Cherokee serviced and the Dodge dealership wrecks it in their parking lot!

A bad experience is taking your wife's Dodge Intrepid car into the same Dodge dealership for a transmission leak and they lie to you saying that you need a $700 transmission cooler, when it's just a loose worm clamp!

A bad experience is taking your Dodge Magnum R/T into a Dodge dealership for a head office authorized lifetime warranty repair and while there with your car on the lift with the repair almost done, somehow a regional dealer warranty rep denies the head office authorization leaving you to pay the full $1000 repair!

These are actual examples of mine. I have more.

A 10 day delay in delivery buying a car is not a bad experience in my opinion, but that's just me. This audience has been waiting up to 1,232 days for their Cybertruck, so I guess 10 days doesn't
even register on the Cyber-wait scale. Lol.

P.S. Never buy a Dodge/Chrysler/Stellantis product. Trust me on that.

You just need to learn how to jump in and out of a moving car. He is only dangerous at rest.
@CyberGus you could start practicing for it like this. I am sure if you have a big life insurance, your wife will be happy to help you.
