The 2024 Cybertruck looks nearly identical to the concept revealed in 2019. The only significant styling modifications are the stubbier front end and lack of door handles.

The upper photo is taken at a much greater distance, with a longer lens.

The Petersen photo is taken from as close as it looks like it is with probably just a phone or whatever.

The front end is 99% the same, you just can't see as much of it in the lower pic because...lens.

I've read different accounts. How many orders to date? Stopped at new Tesla center in Ann Arbor yesterday. Logan the rep said its approaching 3 mill now. Just wondering.

Tesla Reservation numbers are not vehicle specific, they are shared across product lines. Because of this, it's likely not 3 million. It also makes it difficult to know how many there are without Tesla telling us.

The best guesstimate based on data with a lot of assumptions from the people maintaining the Cybertruck reservation tracker is a little north of 1 million if I recall.

Perhaps it's obvious, but if they were able to build even 1 Cybertruck, that means that:

• They can make both front and rear castings
• They have all the stamping dies
• They have all the stainless bendy machines
• They have all the unique parts from vendors (plastics, etc.)
