I am really curious about the suspension on the vehicle. Stamped or forged steel control arms? Exactly what does the rear suspension look like? Will it use an 8-bolt lug pattern similar to a 3/4 ton pickup to attach the wheels? What material will be used for the skid plates?

I just purchased tickets for Saturday. I plan on taking some photos and reporting back with my first impressions. I can’t wait to see the CT in the flesh.

Very jealous! If this was a week later, I would gladly take a road trip to see this. My concern would be, drive all that way and you don’t get to do anything but see it from behind a display barrier. Anything would be better than nothing though, to see it in person!

This is leading me to believe that the unit that will be on display will be the one from the reveal. I am certain Tesla has a few CT prototypes by now. There is no way they would put their only unit on display rather than work/tweak it for the production version.

I agree. Also, they probably don't want the competition "peeking under the skirt" (chassis and suspension) to gain a competitive advantage before it goes on sale.

Masks are required and a limited number of people are admitted. All tickets must be purchased online for a 2-hour visiting window. The 10am-noon window for Saturday quickly sold out yesterday.

I plan to begin driving from Denver to LA on the 25th. I arrive in LA on the 26th, and if all works out I'll stop at the exhibit! This is great news!
