Delivery event soon? Website update and pricing soon!

I suspect it will be Sept or October. End of Q3 like the guidance they have previously given in earnings calls. I don't expect any pricing or details until that event occurs.Delivery event soon? Website update and pricing soon!
That would be an interesting strategy. Makes complete sense, since they're battery constrained. Would give them time to iron out production and get through the long backlog. A bit bummed, but I don't mind waiting a little longer because I won't pull the trigger until the 500+ mile one comes out.

I’m pretty far in line, so I am not for a few years, but would a lot of people bail if it is just 350 miles? I think so. Or they buy it and hold it for a later one.. it would be hard to turn it downI have always had a suspicion that the mid-range might be the first produced due to battery constraints and wanting additional time to work on the higher end model.
The high end model requires more batteries and more motors, and they have more aggressive performance targets they want to hit. They didn't release a performance model of the Model 3 for 3/4ths of a year after launch as they worked on it.
I personally think we have an equal chance of getting the Dual Mid Range or the LR 3/4 Motor first, though I am leaning a bit more towards Dual motor Mid Range as the first release.
I am not even sure we have seen a Cybertruck with more then two motors yet. I know the original prototype was a dual motor and we have yet to see any evidence of other motor designs in the wild. Not that we could easily tell unless we saw one on a dragstrip.
It would completely depend on the cost. $80k, 350 mile version. Probably dead in it's tracks. $50k-60. Probably could push through the first year at that price.I’m pretty far in line, so I am not for a few years, but would a lot of people bail if it is just 350 miles? I think so. I think it depends on the specifics. Is that a $70k Tri-motor model at 350 miles of range? Or is it is a dual motor at 350 miles per range for $60k? Or something else?I’m pretty far in line, so I am not for a few years, but would a lot of people bail if it is just 350 miles? I think so. Nice thoughts! Thanks! I would tow much (at all), but I really want to hit over 400… of course I have been talking myself into 350 (which is 20 more than my MY) all morningI think it depends on the specifics. 350 miles does not match any of the announcement configurations, so its difficult to say what it could be or at what price point.
My personal opinion is that the $70k version's popularity is driven by the 500 miles Range more then then 3 second 0-60 Speed, so only having a 350 mile range for that version would be a big disappointment for those interested in the higher end version.
That said, I think there are a number of us who would accept a lower range version at the announcement price over a higher 500 mile range version at an amount substantially above the announcement price. 500 mile range might not be feasible at the announced pricing yet.
I am anxious to find out.
** Edit- Also, I do want to add that Tesla did cancel there 500 mile range Model S they were going to do, so its not with out precedent sadly. We might not be at the energy density we need yet.
My preferred build is the dual motor announcement version which had 300+ mile of range. I don't plan to do any long distance towing, so that is perfectly fine for me. Its about the same range as my 2018 LR RWD Model 3 has on it currently, and that works great for road trips. Having additional range doesn't really make a difference.Nice thoughts! Thanks! An (initial) 350 mi range would be really embarrassing, especially with the Silverado base model having over a 450 mi range.

While I get the point, I don’t *think* that is trueespecially with the Silverado base model having over a 450 mi range
