Was it worth the overall size reduction in your opinion so that it fits in a garage

yup: “length nose-to-tail ~230" within +/- 1-2" margin of error I'd guess”

This you?

[Three days later…]

Tesla: “Cybertruck remains on track to begin initial production later this year at Gigafactory Texas.”
Sure is! Elon liked that too! ? and I still stand by components being made since mid June.

You revised your entire thread and went "April fools guys lol gg it's a prank" after many people, including me, set you straight.

Whats your Twitter? I wanna make sure I follow you back!

I think it is a good thing on balance. Those of us who live in sometimes-harsh climates and have a garage and want to keep our toys a little warmer/cooler/cleaner/less-old-looking.

For now, anyway.

The F-150 super-crew short bed just barely fits in my garage. At 110 degrees and 4500 feet above sea level I will take that over the long bed. Will Cybertruck always be one size? I have neighbs who disagree with me, and park their F-350 long beds outside. One size of Cybertruck seems temporary to me.

On my 3rd model Y. The sound system in Tesla is 2nd to none. I often go to the garage to listen to music rendered how it should sound. Yes, I want it to fit in the garage.
Can run the AC without carbon monoxide poison. Bring a cooler and hang out for 3 hours. It is next level good.

The sound from YouTube song videos is even better off of the WiFi.

The size of the Cybertruck is the main concern for me. Parking outside will attract vandalism. Someone will test the strength of the glass. I will need to find a new house before buying the vehicle.

There's been good questioning as to "how" Tesla has a ~6.5' bed and still makes this thing fit in a garage. I think THIS could be a GREAT example of what I was referring to with not break between the cabin and the bed.

The Chevrolet Avalanche vs. an F150.

I was quite surprised to recently learn my Tacoma(225.5") is in fact even longer than the Avalanche(221.3"), roughly 7.5" less than my forecasted 227.5" Cybertruck length, and a whole foot under the F150(231.7).

Meanwhile, the Avalanche true bed length comes in just 2 inches shorter than an F150 bed at about 5'4". That doesn't account for the passthrough which extends the bed to OVER 8' of flat open storage. 8'1" to be exact.

It's the unibody design. Just like Cybertruck.

Materially, the storage capacity is darn close. Length of Avalanche however, is coming in at 10" less. If you stuck those 10" on the bed you're at 6'4". And that's without account for the bonus room we experience in EV vehicles. It's seeming darn close to the OG bed size, if not the same.

Tesla Cybertruck So the Cybertruck fits in a garage (at under 19ft long)... But was the size reduction worth it for you? 1690075032848
