Why does that sound dirtyI used to rent out my RV to people in the back of that parking lot.
Wasn’t that a Seinfeld episode? If two BEVs get to the last open charging station at the same time, the one that can go head in will likely get the spot
Definitely got that 'Back To The Future' DeLorean VIBE goin' on! Tell me there's a FLUX Capacitor in the Vault. I needs to know!Spotted by Dima Zeniuk at Las Vegas Supercharger Station.
And a great video from Greggertruck
DeLorean led the way.....I got a better video.
Mod day 1.. Bolt these bad boys on the tailgateThey said something about upgrading the cables when they add the ccs adapter to support the opening of SCs to other brands. But this still has me worried.. Someone hit a charger in my M3 already (no damage to car thankfully, but cracked the super charger) , renters are going to bash into everything in this truck..
Looks like the whole tailgate needs to shift upwards. Would not effect the part you circled below but tighten up the part you circled above. This is a complaint. Just curiosity.
What I’m trying to figure out is if the alignment (circled in red) is purposeful or not. The gap where the vertical panel of the tailgate lines up with the rear quarter panel (circled in green) seems reasonable, to me.
So if it’s purposeful, why. If not, then how can they align it without impacting the gap circled in green.

I believe with more companies standardizing on NACS, that V4 and updated V3 charging stations will have longer cords to be more flexible. You can't open the tailgate and have the kids sit and eat on it whilst charging.
Or open your in-bed fridge
Or even open the tailgate to get anything out! You'd have to unplug, roll forward, open the tailgate and get something out, then close up, reverse again and plug back in.
As an F-150 Lightning user with a family, what I enjoy when I charge front-in is being able to open up the tailgate and make sandwiches / get clothes out.

Or maybe even make a hot drink whilst charging!

Hopefully the v4 superchargers have longer cables for easier Cybertruck tailgate access.
While using that Supercharger. You can't open the tailgate and have the kids sit and eat on it whilst charging.
The CT charging port should be on the front bumper. I don’t know why Tesla has you back into a SuperCharger. Most people in the US pull in front first. Also if you have a trailer you’d have to decouple it in order to charge. Parking space chargers are not a good idea. It should be pull through, like gas stations. I know that would take up more room. Maybe a hybrid of the two?WOW.. You seriously have to back up all the way like that... RIP superchargers.
