What percentage of vehicles are towing? Sure, towing vehicles will need to charge three times for every non-towing cars, but like, most road-tripping vehicles aren't towing. Like, 95% aren't. So 95% of charging stalls don't need to be capable of handling trailers.

I'm confused. Nowhere did I reference towing. I was talking about the cable:

"v2 and v3 cables to be stretched even you you park as far to the right side of the stall as possible?"​

Aside on the different topic of towing: I've been to over 270 unique Tesla Superchargers and only one that I recall had pull throughs that a Tesla pulling a trailer would work at. I've pulled a couple small trailers and will do another next week.

Note: Below was early in the morning & 5 other stalls were open.

This looks adhoc , probably after realizing something with the visual data.
Maybe from the windshield?maybe after they realize moving the third came from up top may not have been a good idea.

But yeah this fangtooth housing was meant to looked like that.

I have to agree with the logical symmetry of this point of view.

The single frame you posted is deceptive. It looks like the SC cable is stretched across the back of the truck, when it's actually just dangling.

The cable still has plenty of slack, as seen in the original video.

You do realize that they parked as close to the right as they could in that stall?
And it seems that cable is certainly at a 90 degree angle.

Clearly the CT stretches the cable more than the other Tesla models.
They could have put it in that back corner or farther back like the prototype at least.

That spot also looks like a bad area in the rain or muddy water.
Isn't water and muck going to get up in there. Seems short sighted to me.

What are you arguing, then? No one owns a Cybertruck yet. So it and towing is an incredibly small portion over overall trips. Why do you care about past Supercharging locations when future ones clearly will support it?

I'm sorry for the confusion. Ignoring towing in the conversation. I'm referring to the normal existing 20K+ v2 and v3 supercharger locations and how the ports so far forward location not being great. It may force the "flood" of 2024+ Cybertrucks to be parked off-center in the stall to maximize the reach at these existing 20K+ stalls. v4 will certainly help with longer cables as well. Drive thru stalls as well although they are few and far between. Sorry for the confusion in my inability to be clear.

I'm careful when I park my current vehicles at regular parking places and certainly even more careful at supercharging stations to be not only courteous to fellow Tesla owners but also to avoid door dings in my cars (kids, inattention adults, others inability to back in park centers in their stalls).

I'm sorry I was unclear. I was imagining if the CT was centered in the stalls then the cable would be less slacked and more stretched than the above picture. HTH.
