Volvo XC90 recharge. I need a family hauler and I'm tired of borrowing my FIL's pickup once a month. Our family is growing - we will keep our MY and need something larger than my tiny Subaru. CT fits that perfectly, but the Volvo is backup.

Keep my truck.

Keep track of the RAM until its 500 mile variant is available.

If RAM sucks (not enough range or too high price); keep my truck until I feel the need to upgrade to a newer ICE truck. Which would probably be a RAM. But if I go for the full size rear doors, it could be a Ford. I just won't go with suicide doors again on the back.

Patience to see what happens. I want 6 or 7 seats. If my wife no longer feels that way about seat number and 5 will do. Plan B could still be the cyber truck followed by the Model Y.
if she still desires 6 or 7 seats then 2023 Model X, 7 seats, blue ext, white interior. I’ll get it used in 2025.

Just looked up some Raptor quotes recently… prices 150k? Garbage. I did stop looking at first location… maybe better prices out there?
If you want a raptor at or below sticker that’s definitely doable

I have a Plan B is case Tesla prices the 2024 Cybertruck in the clouds. Here are the vehicles that I also have deposits on as a backup. Please share yours:

-2024 Ineos Grenadier
-2024 Tacoma TRD Pro hybrid
-Canoo pickup
-2024 F150 Raptor
I have a deposit on a Silverado, but it is also expensive.
I have to say that I like both the Rivian R1T and the R1S but I don’t have a deposit on either.

Haven't seen this one before and seems underrated. Nice and compact, but I do question crash-worthiness and interior room dimensions a little bit. Functionality and packaging seems great though. Less car more function...

We had one of these nearly 30 years ago that was the "right size". Still made locally in very small numbers.

Would think Ford stopping production on the Lightning will help low mileage Lightning resale.

Been tough watching my 2023 loose so much value the last 10 months. I planned for some depreciation but to date it has exceeded expectations.

It is a wonderful truck. Would like to capture more value if I was to sell it when my CT is available.

To answer OP's question, if CT came in at price I deemed to high for my budget (I'm in the camp it will be close to reveal price) I can keep my Lightning and enjoy it for many years.

I also have the option of a very early Ram REV spot but I think that will either never come to market or be extremely expensive. Glad I have the early spot reserved but I doubt that will be any less expensive than the Cybertruck and if I had to overpay would be on the CT.

Model S Plaid for me. On the fence and waiting to see the CT details.

Different vehicles with different use cases that fit my needs.
I’m with Mr Smith here. At the current pricing, an S Plaid will fill the spot in my driveway currently reserved for the CT. I’ve said it before, I’m in this for all “Cyber” and not for the “Truck” part.

Ahh.... 39, 49, 59.... Elon will take too much heat if it blows up too high. I'll believe stratosphere prices when I see them.

Currently driving a Rivian R1T. That's my Plan B. Or maybe my Plan A if there isn't enough clear advantage to the CT.
