Share your “Plan B” if the CT is priced in the stratosphere

I have a deposit down on the Silverado, but I don't see how Chevy could undercut Tesla on price. My electric pickup truck order is to pull an Airstream so I have to have decent towing range. I accept that it's possible that decent range isn't achievable in the near term and I'll have to abandon my Full-Time EV RV dream, but I'll still need a firewood hauling 4X4 for my cabin. A Lightning would suffice in a pinch if Tesla and Chevy fall thru. ?

I will just wait since this is a “want” for me and not a must have. I would consider a Rivian performance if i could get it under $80k.

Ahh.... 39, 49, 59.... Elon will take too much heat if it blows up too high. I'll believe stratosphere prices when I see them.

I do not believe that the prices will be stratospheric but I thought the posting was a good way to take my mind off the fact that @greggertruck hasn’t told us when the delivery event will be, and I placed the Silverado RST reservation way back before even Cybertruck release candidates were being made.

I don’t believe the price will be stratospheric either. Tesla has continuously made very public. Customer minded pricing moves lately. Even as recently as last night with the lower price model Y reintroduced. Even better range than it had in 2021 as well.

My B plan will be my dual motor Tesla Cybertruck !!!!! ? ?

yeah, same here- if the tri/quad is too much (especially in CAD with 13% HST) then the dual motor will be my choice. I did put a $150 deposit on a silverado and sierra EV but doubt if they will be much less.

Same here, a plaid will be mine. I have a truck with only 42.000 on it Ram extended cab diesel. Have a 2017 S still free charging, along with the free radio and traffic updates, love it.
