We know for others not like us types, open to change and like radicalness, the Cybertruck might polarize to the point of keying the body. We can take scratches out of stainless steel, but the question is, can we repair deep key scratches? In stainless steel, how deep is the protection?

If it's a diamond ring, there is a good chance the diamond will get dislodged from the setting. Perhaps the diamond will help pay for the scratch repair.

They might need a climbing pick rather than a key

I live in San Francisco, with no garage, and I am more worried about acid. I see it from time to time on windows and metal. That will be a real pain to buff out and over time will weaken the SS.

These types of vandalism are random
Knucklehead gets out of his “truck” near the CT with a chip on his shoulder
Walks by and drags his keys against the CT
I hear you guys and hope for the best
Except for the diamond ring nut
?

as for acid, random acts are not acid based
Vandalism with acid would be planned and all bets are off for that crime

Most acid attacks I've heard about are not on vehicles.

Unless it's just acid rain. That get's pretty much everyone.

Does anyone have keys that are made of something harder than cold rolled stainless that is ready for space?
Personally I'd love to hear of someone that did it and destroyed their keys. And of course they would try to blame the Cybertruck owner

I think Tesla vandalism is rather sensationalized and low considering the quantity of Tesla vehicles and the 5-10 vandalism videos out there. I’m not denying it occurs, however.

The shopping cart videos are a whole different story. Far more numerous and costly!

Taggers are using it all over the city on windows and metal.
I wonder if Tesla is doing the Fishermen Wharf test. You know where they leave it there for a couple nights and see if it has broken windows or an acid attack.

We have a large number of CCW owners in my area so vandalism is not common. Good solution is to protect your property and defend yourselves against others.

Do you really encounter acid attacks?
Who has the time and money to shop for, purchase acid, and plan random vandalism on other people's property?

That sounds like an expensive and time consuming hobby...
