The Cyberlander was a very flawed concept from the beginning, no matter how much it appealed to a few peoples want of a mini home on wheels. It will be interesting to watch the founders and reservationists come to that same conclusion (although I can't imagine how they have not already reached it). Hopefully it gets cancelled soon because a slow-motion train wreck is not fun to watch.Finally something that shows much space there is in the bed itself to sleep.
Its doable, but notice how his head is in the back of the midgate slope, and there really isn't much clearance in height when the vault comes down over the top of him. You wouldn't want to sleep with your head at the tailgate end.
This is another good indication of the goldilocks dimensions of the CT, in that even the bed height is not that much, even though it has those side sails that go up to the roof. The is because overall the CT is low, but the bed sail also starts low because of the low rear roof, and that the tailgate isn't very high. This compresses the volume of the bed to that of a glorified, albeit longer, large station wagon when the vault is closed.
I really dunno how cyberlandr will ever fit anything useful in that bed area, other than something the size of a porta loo. When the seats are folded out to a bed, they would have to stick their feet into the shower to make it work, given the open space between the midgate eave and the tailgate.
I wish there were thigh bolsters on the front seats. Then the front seats could fold back to connect to the base of the rear seats to form a bed of sorts. Then you would have access to the HVAC in the cabin. Given that the vault is supposedly barely over 6 feet in length, I personally will not be able to lie down in it. I don’t think Tesla wants you to either, despite what you see in this leakage test.Finally something that shows much space there is in the bed itself to sleep.

There are physical buttons for the windows. The frameless design of the windows necessitates lowering them slightly when opening/closing the door to prevent damage.
I think if you open the door in the rain, you’re getting wet regardless ?
It's a pop-up office or bed. Some people try to make it be more than it is.
