yes - that height is insanely high, fenders about 10” over the wheels

it is not, however, readily available (and takes special handling of the compressor etc)

Honestly, I actually really happy now. Tesla just saved me $70k. I was prepared to go that high for a 450-ish mile range version and now I don't have to. I'll just get by with my Tundra until they get the 4680's figured out and get through all the super rich people who can afford to over pay.

Tesla is doing the Dutch auction thing. Starting high, making room to come down if the demand isn't there. De-contented versions are always possible later.

Definitely better to do it this way than the garbage 1 year no resale.
