Isn't the AWD version still a tri-motor? Beast mode is just an higher output motor. I read somewhere that all versions had two motors for the rear.

Considering all of the the vehicles Tesla currently sell are cheaper than they were in 2019, I don't think it was delusional at all.
There's a good possibility that the prices now up on the Tesla site are for new $250 reservations, and those of us that got in early for $100 will see a lower price.
