Is there an easy way to help some more deserving soul have my place in line?

4yrs of anticipation… but this year the financial stars are just not aligning for me.

I don't know if you can transfer it though as there is a no reseller clause in your reservation.

Yeah, not sure either. Kinda figured I would do a solid for Elon and just free up the space by cancelling, but if there is somebody who gives a compelling reason and method to do the line cut I figured I would throw it out there…. Or maybe I should just take the truck, ? Hard decisions!

It's really only a question of if you really, really need that Benjamin back right now. The rest is out of reach atm.

Nah, the deposit isn’t an issue, truthfully would be glad to donate it to the cause. If the price drops I might be up for it yet, so yeah might as well hang tight.

not could be 6months or 2 years before your number is pulled

just hold the reservation until your number is pulled, and then decide whether to cancel or not

I reserved four years ago during the original unveiling. Should be in the first 1,600 or so if I did my math right.

Reservations are Non-Transferable, as a Tesla rep recently confirmed that to me. Cancelling Reservations is permissible and it effectively moves everyone's place up by the one canceled.

Once you cancel your reservation however, don't think you can ask for it again because if you want it again you'll have to start with a new reservation at the end of the line.

If that is worth a $100 dollar refund to you - then please go for it.

I feel the same. The $100.00 is basically a lost nickle in interest. Let it Ride and lets see what the market will bear. I was a bit sticker shocked when the updated prices were posted. Not sure why it wasn't announced live unless it might have been a big turnoff and backfired.

I know prices have gone up, but 49.9 to 80k is 60% I was more expecting 10K up / 20%.

Now lets hope our Tesla stock also stays on pace and doesn't take a bath.
