I think if you decline, you are just moved to the back of the queue. I'm guessing it's the same system they are using now for the 3 and Y, it's just that there are a lot more orders to process compared to the current lineup. The system will allocate and assign the car based on the queue in the system, when I brought my Y last month, there was last minute issue and they had to cancel my allocation and I had to wait for another build to be allocated which delayed the delivery for another month (not that it matter for me, I wanted to wait anyways).


I wonder what the conversion rate for the truck currently is. No doubt they will sell every one of them, but how fast are they moving through the queue is another question.

RN 11274... Really wanted the Cyberbeast, but the range, coupled with 120k didn't make sense to me. Also, the aftermarket lightbar is the only added option exclusive to the Cyberbeast and didn't like the look of it. FINALLY!!! May you all get your allocations soon! I also put down a $500 deposit for the range extender.

Looks like it also comes with installation up to $4k for PowerShare home backup (wall charger and gateway). Another way to help justify the premium.

I was pretty close to my estimate of $6000 for the PowerShare feature. Gateway v3 is about $1800 and the installation credit of $4000 = $5800 (assuming there isn't any other hardware needed to make this work)

I got the email about an hour ago and it took me a while to decide, but I Ordered Dual Motor! (because its the only variant that has both front and rear locking differentials)

I tried to do a price analysis of the Foundation upgrades as attached to help justify my purchase lol.

I'm a little sad that the Included Off-Road Light Bar is only for the CyberBeast foundation not the Dual Motor Foundation.
