New VINs for 12/21:
5 Cyberbeast (#21-25)

Woo! :ROFLMAO:

separately, a presentation suggestion: the orange dotted Cyberbeast line at the bottom of the screen, could probably use being scaled up in 'font' size so that it's a more apparent participant in the graph

the AWD blue hashed line jumps out, the orange dotts still kind of visually buried down in the key

Ok on secondary scaling for cyberbeast. The beast snuck up on me.

I wasn't running the continuously scan this morning (got caught up making pierogis) but I am running it now. 21 new AWD so far today.

Every delivery so far has been to a Tesla employee.

Tesla has over 120,000 employees. I would think with employee priority it's fair to estimate at least 7-8% will order a Cybertruck.

It looks like it's going to be a long time before we see any Cybertrucks in the hands of average joes.

the first tranche of invites appears to have been heavily weighted towards Tesla employees, no surprise

further, I know for a fact employees were offered various ~testing programs wherein if they agreed to do XYZ they would have their invites/orders prioritized

eg, expect to see emoloyees be among the first to have V2H systems installed - not entirely because they’re most important, but also because they’ll be friendly test mules, etc.

these are all early units, subject to early unit prioritization and a myriad of corporate considerations (or corporate ham-fistedness)

To be clear, is it possible the TMs were in the system yesterday evening but you didn’t know until you ran the scan this morning?

So out of 311 vins 294 are on this sites ordered list. That’s a really high percentage.

that's a good bit apples and oranges

Tesla to date may have sent out eg 5,000 invites and received 3,000 orders, for trucks that will be built and delivered between now and end of 2024

Separately, tesla to date has registered ~300 VINs for trucks it has already built, currently building, or plans to build in the next several weeks

you may be thinking of a different type of "VIN tracking," wherein customers who have taken orders report their VIN so that the VIN# betrays something (a little reliable) about how many trucks have been delivered.

the best data for understanding ramp to production and delivery, is the combination of the VIN registration tracking here (the input) combined with the customer delivery VIN information (the output)

Not only is there no way for you to know this, it's demonstrably false.

Appreciate the hard work, how long do you plan on tracking/posting?
We going to lose updates on this thread once you get an invite to purchase? :)

??? Show me ONE example of a non-employee taking delivery (other than from the delivery event)
Moving the goalpost there aren’t you?
But check out the YouTube delivery videos. They are happening.

Yes that is possible (and likely). When I do a continuous scan, its of about 20-40 vins that are a continuation of the vin trending from the day before. I do this to see the exact time it hits the site. If I did all possible vins, it takes like 2-3 hours to process.
