Very selfishly rooting for some Cyberbeasts Vins to start popping! :devilish:
I have to come up with a small list of vin to run continuously each day to find out what time they become active. Its still a guessing game to get that level of detail.

BTW my RN isn't getting called anytime soon and I'm probably just getting one AWD. One of my later RN's will be used for a beast in a couple years after my first one.

Likewise

was at the Fremont factory showroom today to change from Tesla financing to cash (was rate shopping for a business purchase) and the offer from them wasn’t anything to write home about but You can’t reject from in app

Tesla rep was able to make the swap using his system for the financing switch but Didn’t have any other info

said that they have only delivered 2 or 3 trucks to vips from that show room.

Was a 50x model x customer due to the proximity to factory and figured with Cybertruck production being in Austin I wouldn’t be so lucky but still hoping the beast I ordered would be one of the earlier ones.

The seemingly non existent production of beasts in relation to AWDs is deflating but happy for those who get theirs none the less!

Was really hoping to have the truck for the winter months

New VINs for 1/2/24:
21 AWD (#724-744)

After 10 days of no new vin activations, we got 21 new ones today. We saw a good amount of the ones staged in the lots get moved off site in the last couple of days so I think finalizing the units outside was the priority over 'winter break'.

This is the single, most important thread on this site. Thanks for keeping us updated!

Agreed, this thread is key to having at least some insight to delivery timelines. They more that Tesla produces, the more likely regular customers start getting theirs. The question is how many were ordered by employees and when does Tesla flip deliveries from employees and VIPs to the rest of us including persons outside of CA and TX. Perhaps we will learn some info during the earnings call. I could foresee some slowdowns due to issues found by employees and VIPs. I had an early Model X that had plenty of parts swapped out in the first 6 months.

Weren't the MC VIN's slightly different? No letter X?
The RCs had a build year of 2023 (P for digit 10) and R for digit for digit 12 . MCs were 2024 (R for digit 10) with the same 0 for digit 12. So same as the foundation VINs. Once the foundations are over, idk if we should expect a founders and signature series after to extend the financial reporting timeline. Those might have a F or S for digit 12. I think it's unlikely but who knows.

Edit add: I'm still unsure if 88, 99 and 911 are MCs or foundation. Currently I'm counting those as foundations but they are VIN islands.

New VINs for 1/4/24:
32 AWD (#796-800, 912-938)
Skipped VINs: 907-910. (801-906 at MCs)

800 was an odd one today. I thought it was skipped because I was scanning it and 912 & 913 were activated at 8:05. I have inactive scans on 800 at 8:05:08 AM, 8:07:59 AM, 8:10:39 AM, 8:13:18 AM, 8:16:07 AM, 8:18:31 AM. I ended up taking it off my list and adding some more over 915 because I had to leave the house for a few hours.

I was just about to post today's numbers and I manually went back to check a couple VINs. Ended up 800 was active. So when you see the time captured being much later, that why. I don't know the exact time of activation but it was sometime after 8:18:31 AM and before 7:02:30 PM.

That appears to me as if the largest weekly possible production so far.

I wonder if the jump to 900 means anything.

So if we look the first 3 days of week of 12/18, there was 87. The first 3 days of this week is 104. Good chance it will be the most activations!

See the explanation of MCs being 801-906. 907-910 were skipped (i dont know why) and 911 is an activate cyberbeast. So the next inline was 912.

I'm doing a full scan now to see if any more out of order VIN series were started. Should be done in about 2 hours from now.

it’s not production

it’s VIN registrations

maybe catch up with the first 14 pages of the thread
Oh yes, you are correct oh mighty one.

It's obvious that they are just ordering VINS for the heck of it.

Maybe that's what I use the phrase "possible production"

no, the point is that we don’t know if they’re activating VINs for the next day worth of production, or the next month worth of production

Maybe that's what I use the phrase "possible production"
it’s a ramp

every week should be the ā€œlargest weekly possible production so far.ā€

deep stuff

wrong about what? You didn’t even say anything substantive

If you don't like my posts, feel free to ignore them…. let me draw my own conclusions.

I’d rather not ignore your uninformed and incorrect posts injected on my thread

but to be clear, I don’t care that you have wrong conclusions

I only care that you post them here on this thread, because it may confuse other people

and that you do so with no apparent interest in reading the thread, asking informed questions, providing substantive critique or reasoning

just some armchair missive, combined with a ā€œI can believe what I’d likeā€œ whine

some of us here have spent a lot of time and energy understanding and contributing

You’re doing the opposite, so far.

Feel free to join in

until then…
