While I agree that its an egregious oversight, I almost surely travel more than anyone on this forum for work so I solve this issue with a pair of battery banks that weigh ~ 3lbs total.
and fit in the same packback I keep all my other tech bs in. Also the 65w USBs do work in the when charging
165 to 200 miles a day for me here. Contractor in California environmental compliance management of hazardous materials. Shouldn't' need another thing to do a thing for a thing that is on the thingy.

no and very disappointed to hear. Was hoping to charge laptop and work at my sites while I charge the truck at same time. Can't even charge a laptop. Blows A$$
There are 110v outlets in the cabin that work while driving. You can even set them to power on when you open the door.

right but was disappointed about while you charge the truck you can't use the outlets. You have a truck now can you see if that is true? One owner posted he could not use the outlets while charging truck.

Reread the thread, the answer is above your post.

The Cybertruck apparently uses the charging circuits to provide the onboard AC, so they're occupied while charging. The plan to allow some switching later, but haven't finished programming it at this point.

Honestly, that's kind of amazing, it means you're not carrying a second inverter and that all Cybertrucks - not just the fancy ones - will have this feature.

Such old world thinking. There you go thinking that the vehicle that you buy from Tesla is the same one that you'll have in a few weeks.
It's a hard thing for most people to understand about Tesla.

Right and again they say and said supposed to have it available with an update. I really like Kyle and his real world testing. Crissa, it's just as of now, no. Looking forward to real world working trucks and get beyond this featureless, possible future it will work, not working as of now truck I ordered.
