Ok so I finally saw the CT on the road. Only have seen it in Tesla Showrooms. And today when I saw it pass me on the freeway…man that rear bumper/DIAPER is bad. Makes the rear excessively “thick”. I assume it’s so much worse seeing on road than showroom because your angle of vision is from further away and you are lower than standing height.

Please someone figure out an aftermarket solution. I know there’s a tow hitch. I know there’s a speaker. I know it’s probably more aerodynamic with it. I don’t even think a somewhat exposed hitch would be bad….

Someone tell Tsportline, Unplugged….anyone. Don’t just make a monster beefy rear bumper with 10 spare tires. Just make a slick, stock style rear bumper. Please. End rant….

Definitely better clearance angle. To remove entirely I assume you lose much/all storage space

Built in step right behind tire it appears. Looks better to my eye.
Better departure angle.
Lot of holes for things.

ADD / Addictive Desert Design will hopefully make something better. They are the best in the TRX/Raptor world.

The rear bumper is ugly and to be honest, I am not a fan of Unplugged Performance and any of their products and as a company for many reasons that I don't want to get into.

Keep in mind that it might have everything to do with aero at speed and the faster the air slips off the backend the better, trying to remove it might really disrupt the aero and your at speed range (think highway)

That 2.7° is … not much

Where’s @scottf200 for his chart ?

meanwhile, aside from aero, hitch, etc.., the diaper’s intended load is for the wireless charging kit

not that a lot of folks will be buying the wireless charging kit

but at least one kat out there is gonna pay for and install one of these aftermarket bumpers only to later want the wireless charger

I mean I hate it from pure aesthetic standpoint. But if someone can solve it, it would definitely help the Departure angle significantly
