Just got my VIN tonight. I was actually going to switch to a non-Foundation since we already have 2 2023 Teslas in the garage… but the pull to get Cybertruck is too strong.

Charlotte is my delivery center. Curious how long scheduling will take now.

If you financed- did you submit a loan application before or after getting the VIN?

The one there isn’t a Foundation series so I’m not sure they’d be delivering it. But who knows!

Great experience at Tesla Charlotte. Fun time for all as it was the first Cybertruck delivery in NC, so we all got together for a group photo.

Already been on a mini road trip driving to Rock Hill then back home. Spoke to many and blew some minds!

We’re loving it so far. I’m sure I’ll have a review to add to the others soon but for now there’s some sinking in to do and thinking needed as to where we’re going to drive it next.

I’ll say my wife was skeptical until laying eyes on it for the first time in person. She loves it and doesn’t even mind the attention on the road as everyone is just so happy to see it drive by.

I financed through Navy Federal Credit Union and got approval and documents before I had a VIN. I filled out the financing section in the app at that time and took the documents today. About 5 signatures and everything was good to go.

Nothing special. Preorder was a few minutes before the event started but don’t know that that matters. Probably luck of the draw?

I ordered near the end of the event when they said preorders were open (from what I remember). But I have a lower reservation number. This is strange, makes me wonder if they do actually go in order.

Either way, stoked for you! I live in SC, a state with no Tesla representation yet, so even though my pickup is in Charlotte, I’m not sure what that means for my timeline!

Yeah I was always surprised how high my number was despite ordering as soon as possible. It seems they might actually sort by some original order time maybe, which doesn’t correlate to the order number.

My truck was one of three they had, so I imagine those others will be delivered soon if not already. I didn't get a timeline on that though.
