Anyone pick up a CT in NJ as of yet?

I'm still waiting on a configuration email...but I have a Dec 2019 reservation, could be a while.

Did trip out to King of Prussia Mall a week or so ago to see the CT live. Was roped off, which was annoying, so couldn't get within six feet but it's a heck of a machine to see in real life. Interior I think will end up being very familiar to current Tesla owners. I spoke to one of the Tesla reps there, they were signing everyone in on a tablet and limiting people in the shop, and he said I should expect to see my truck before year-end, but not too much before year-end. That's good enough for now.

Adding gratuitous shots for those who haven't seen one IRL as of yet.

No update from me tomorrow is day 60 since I configured on 12/28 and about day 55 from when they withdrew final payment from my checking account. No Vin yet and my frustration level is growing.

wow, they withdrew funds 55 days ago? That's insane.

I'm guessing (based on nothing) you'll have a VIN by 3/8. Sending positive vibes.

You should hopefully be seeing that VIN soon based on the averages in other threads on this forum. I’m rooting for you! Especially because it gives others like me hope that it’s finally coming to Jersey. I’m 33 days out, configured on 1/23, so maybe I’m only a month behind you. Definitely keep us posted on the status when you do get your VIN.

Was that payment they withdrew the $1,000 deposit, or the $100k for the truck? If it was the $100k for the truck that is quite the wait, maybe ask them for some interest if it is going beyond 60 days. With today's rates thats like $950 in interest

I have been waiting for 73 days since I configured my CT order. Still waiting. No VIN assigned. Location: NJ

Today is day 27 for me since I placed my order and I don’t have a VIN yet so my thoughts are if that’s the average that’s only because the people with delivery are all TX and CA so far. I think I’m going to be more like 60-90 in NJ but we’ll see.

I sent their tech-support a text yesterday trying to passively aggressively remind them that they withdrew final payment from my bank account January 9 and haven’t said a word to me since. They gave me an annoying reply of like when it’s time to proceed to the next step I’ll be notified in the app. No VIN yet no nothing.

You have a very early RN and order date. But you ordered a beast. They haven’t even delivered many beasts in CA or TX to non-employees (if any).
And as far as I know, nobody in NJ has received a cybertruck. Not even us AWD configurations. Once the AWD starts rolling into NJ, then maybe?

Later this year. Beasts just aren't out there yet. It appears that Tesla may have changed their minds as to Beast production.
