Buffalo took back the crown of snowiest city in America, we had been beaten a few years in a row. If Syracuse or Erie want the crown back, they can have it!

To stay on topic I'll make up a stat. Only FS orders will be placed until September.

Looking at the last 30 years, I think Syracuse, N.Y, Rochester, NY and Erie, Pennsylvania might all beat Buffalo NY in terms of the most snow.
It depends on the unpredictability of the "Lake Effect" machine. The lakes freezing or not makes a huge difference. Typically, it's your South Towns heading South of BLo that get hit the hardest.

It seems very likely that they will offer the same interior trim and tires as a option even when the Foundation series ends.
not so sure, the founders editions Model S and X had specific color only available for them in the beginning so its entirely possible that the non FS will look different.

No, I have a strong feeling it will be Summer 2025 before they open non Foundations.

What I see:
1) There's a ton of demand for the foundation and there is a high margin on selling the included FSD and accessories for $20k.
2) Cyberbeast is already estimating late 2024. This means you can't open non Foundations or people will just swap their order from FS to Non-FS to save the extra $20k.
3) Referral credit fast track. The 1st batch sold out within an hour. It also said if you miss it, there will be more. This means there is a huge demand for the Cybertruck leading back to #1.

I could be wrong and I don't care if I am, but I'm just trying to set some expectations. If people get non Foundations before summer 2025, then great, but don't get mad if they don't get it by then. Also, we all think the price will drop, but it could also go the other way. A non foundation AWD could be $90k and Breast go $110 or $120 without all the FS add-ons. FSD price could increase back to $15k or more once v12 matures. It's all a gamble at this point, but I would take the FS offer if you get it.
Ok then, but 110k "breast" must be typo! Or not? ?

Tesla is all about supply and demand, they price accordingly. What isn't known is the cost to produce a CT once the line is up to full capacity. Will a $48k RWD CT provide the same margins as they see on their other vehicles? Tesla seems to have a pricing floor across the board to keep driving volume, I imagine there's only a few people who know where that floor is expected to settle with CT.

It doesn't change OP claimed 15000 more or less FSCT cap. The new invites are just fill in the gaps of very early RNs.

I was in doubt then but saw the other post said only 875 FSCT being delivered as of today, i start to believe him. 15000 still a long way to go if only 875 being delivered AND still 80 CT being made per day.

Oh, I thought he meant it was closed as of "Feb 16, 2024 - FS is closed, prove me wrong" - hmm so he's saying it's closing at end of Feb with around 15,000 orders? umm, and, prove me wrong?

I think they will go to at least 20K FS orders and it's not over yet. Now it's heading on into March and more to go. So yes I'm looking at some different data points. But it's all a guess. And so mine is that Tesla will maximize profits by continuing the FS.

FWIW, Troy estimates 27k CTs delivered in 2024. So,if 10k / 15k are FS, we will see a similar number of nonFS this year.

RN11288, got my invite yesterday... located in Pennsylvania, FWIW. Not ordering, gonna wait it out some more and save $20k. (wife is financial advisor, so I have no choice when it comes to stupid financial decisions)

Yeah, my wife/financial advisor tried that but since her car cost more than the Beast she didn't have much of a leg to stand on! I struggled with the $20k extra and may have waited had I not already waited 4 years!

Look this way, 20k for 6 years financing, the total would be 22k, so about 3.7k/year, roughly $300/month. Nowaday, you cannot even get out of Costco with less than $500 spending.
