I brought a certified check....balance due was slightly different at pickup and I just needed to send them a few dollars more in the app. I really recommend not paying in advance if you can get your hands on a certified check. Tesla said a certified check would in no way slow down delivery.
What is the total price including all taxes and fees in California for the foundation dual.im really close and want to secure my funds beforehand.thanks

RN#: RN11274xxxx
Configured: 12/19/23
VIN received: 3/22/23
Scheduled Delivery: 3/28/24 (originally)
Delayed Delivery Date: 3/30/24 (as of now, dependent on part)

Let me know if I missed any common questions. I can try to ask in person and update this post.

Hey THANKS for the through report...I am also in CHARLOTTE..Config 1/11/24 and the estimated delivery was JAN-MAR; so it looks like I may be 3 weeks behind you(April 18?). That kinda sucks as I was going to bring it to a small car show to help out a friend..but maybe there really is a 'ramp up' and I'll get sooner....who knows... Thanks again for the report-very helpful!
did youtake delivery on 3/30 ?

Hello @PAPAB . Have you taken delivery of your CT yet? The cybertruck.vin site shows you with a RN11284xxxx res# and a delivery date of 3/30. Is that correct?

Just trying to keep track of when I might get my delivery and you seem to be an outlier if you’ve already got yours.

Thanks!

So it’s crunch time. Placed $1K deposit on Beast June 4 and just got VIN on Sept 6. Was out of state so delivery date Sept 18th now.
Not that I’m hedging, but for those who have a Beast (or AWD), any regrets? Anyone wish they had that $110-130K back? Anyone pay cash and wished they’d financed instead, or does it matter?

Really appreciate the input from current owners. I bought a Hummer wagon in 1994 (before it was called an H1) and it was fun but a continuous headache (it was my ā€˜boat’…best day/worst day) and I swore I’d never buy anything that required that much babysitting. I’ve gotten PTSD every time I think about buying an off-the-beaten path exotic since then.

Thoughts?

@R2B2, ZERO regrets! It's awesome!!! Trust me, you'll be happy! BTW, you forget what you're driving until someone points at you or takes a picture. It drives and rides that well...

Are you in the Cyberbeaat waiting room thread? If not you can help others by posting your order and fact that you’ve gotten your vin and any details helps us all still waiting on VIN or for delivery.
Also your general location or service center location guides us with where deliveries are happening.

To answer part of your question, I’m paying cash as I have on all my Teslas and have nothing to regret when buying the best designed vehicles and most futuristic software for autonomy and with the best charging network worldwide.

Even our Tesla solar roof was cash and is already paying back dividends and could practically live off grid the Tesla way with solar charging and with help of SPAN panels to regulate circuits being used in heavy times.

Thanks

I’ll look into CB waiting room.

This will be my first EV. So I’m naturally apprehensive. I know it’s completely different but as I mentioned I was traumatized, lol, with past purchase of HMMWV so don’t want to deal with that kind of PITA again.
