I feel the exact same way, I picked mine up Friday morning and hope something wasn't overlooked prior to deliver. No issues so far ??
No problems here either.
In fact I have to say, the CT Beast is fantastic. It is smooth, quiet, fast and effortless. We have an S and an X and the CT is just..better. I can see where it uses more energy, yes because of its mass but more because you are going way way faster than it feels. Besides the $$ aspect, the way this truck drives puts to bed all my concerns. If you are still on the fence, put your mind at ease. This is coming from a guy who has driven it a total of 60 miles…

I received my Beast delivery the day prior to the “hold.” I was wondering if I should be be concerned, to which Tesla service advised me my CT was “cleared for delivery.” I missed the hold by that much! (Old TV show reference)
Incredible timing.....'Would you believe?'

I completely agree! We have a Y and the beast is way more solid. I was worried that it would feel light and dainty like the Y butt not the case at all. I've driven it just over 200 miles so still really early but so far it's surpassing my expectations!

I don’t understand why they can’t glue the cover on and call it a day? Why do they have to redesign and ship a new part?

So basically there is going to be a surge of deliveries after the 20th, will be fun to watch the drone videos over the next few weeks!

I just got the text. My CT is scheduled to arrive to Fort Lauderdale tomorrow and the text mentioned the incoming trucks were all in a “containment hold” until they receive the necessary parts.

Tesla rec’d my full price 2 weeks ago and have not YET informed me of my delivery date. Is that normal? I would think payment is due upon delivery, but not 2-3 weeks later! Anyone else experience this?
There has been countless threads on this. You absolutely do not need to pay upfront it will not delay your delivery. Sometimes the app does allow you to pay early but you don't need to and you shouldn't.

Not always true. I had to pay all upfront (and still waiting on delivery after 9 days) because mine is being delivered to me in NY at Turning Stone Casino. Because pickup is in a Reservation all business had to be done prior - cannot transact monetary business on the Res. Also, ibhad to agree that I cannot refuse delivery. My only other option was to drive 330 miles, one way, for delivery.

Gotta say that cover looks pretty cheap and flimsy. Is it really that much more to have an indestructible solid piece of metal in a premium truck?

What happened to "the best part is no part?"

It's not so much the cost as it is the weight. You don't want moving parts like pedals to weigh a bunch.

You'd be shocked at a lot of parts you interact with. I remember buying a faucet for our kitchen sink and thinking it was the lightest, cheapest thing out there (I didn't make the choice). Once installed, it felt like a huge upgrade from the previous, builder's quality one and felt really heavy and quality. Difference was where it was.
