A rivet was the 1st thing I thought of when the problem was revealed. Personally don't see a problem with it. If you don't like the looks, just sick a picture of Yosemite Sam over it. ;-)

That'll be the final fix after they source the rivet. In stainless steel.

Anyone have any updates on when service centers will receive the pedal rework kit jig? Crazy that they can’t just specify where to drill and shoot the rivet

?‍ my goodness, I wish I could take my Milwaukee rivet gun, a bunch of blind rivets, and a set of calipers I have and take it to my delivery center. You can keep all my items, just give me my truck!

They should put some sort of easter egg in the UI now like musks voice saying "too much lube" when you put it in sport or beast mode.

They said temporary until new pedal is shipped. It would be nice to know if all Cybertrucks are affected.

When toyota was going through the floormat thing, they used zip ties till they found a better fix.

This is my thinking of what the timeline looks like:
- 04/12: Tesla stopped deliveries of CT and shipped the pedal jig to SC (hoping that they would be delivered by 04/20)
- 04/18: Tesla released the service bulletin to SC
- 04/18: VA SC received the pedal jig ahead of time and performed the fix and delivered the car
My guess is that most SC are receiving it today and going to deliver tmo (04/20). And some SC are getting the jig later hence scheduling it for 04/23 and beyond.

I wonder if Tesla is being proactive and sending these jigs to every SC, or are waiting for SC to order it themselves.

What is the production rate for the jig? Anyone have drone footage? Hope they aren’t shipped by rail.
